Max-see

Seems like a good idea, but why no Bluetooth? Seems very very unsafe as it creates its own wi-fi connection which shows as “unsecured” on my phone. So the app asks for permissions to access your phone’s photos, then operates on an unsecured connection? Not cool in my opinion. Seems like a cheap scam to open you up to all sorts of hacking. Going to uninstall this and send it back.

Doesn’t even work at all just keeps telling me to connect to it by WiFi

tbh, i got it and the rating made it look SUS, and then i saw a malware review and deleted it, Am I being too worried or is my suspicion considerable. I didn’t even open the app.

Installed this after product arrived. Should have stopped minute I realized you had to connect to device as a wifi connection. I used it once and a week later my online bank account was breached. I only use the mobile app and the scammers had my bank user id plus a whole ton of other information they shouldn’t have. I’m pretty sure only way they couldn’t get what they were after is because I had face enabling for passwords, so they couldn’t lift the information to get fully in.

I have been using Max-See as part of my business for a few months with great success. Today, I took photos as usual then went to upload to google drive where I keep everything organized. The upload button force closes the app and I have no other method of saving the photos. I went to the App Store to report a problem but this app doesn’t accept feedback through the App Store. So I went to their website. I emailed the email address on their website and received an error notification that the email doesn’t exist. I hope this is just an oversight and the app will be back to functioning soon but not having anyway of getting support for this is very frustrating.

Device is connected through Wi-Fi but app fails to recognize/find my devices. Piece of junk.

Suddenly will only work in portrait mode on iPad Pro. There are no setting options in the app so everything is stuck sideways while I’m trying to use it. Version history from one day ago says “fixed bugs.” Seems to have only created more bugs. Like many other reviews on here have stated; the camera is fine, the app is trash.

I can find videos or pictures that i took. How do i save them?

If you would like to play around with your child or grandchild or 3rd grade class to look at some leaves or fingernails or sand or whatever, it will work and the price is righ. I was hoping it would replace a handheld loop for actual science stuff I do for work and capture pictures. Hard no go. Another commenter mentioned the skew. He or she was spot on. I dropped it on metric graph paper without the stand and there wasn’t a square in site. It’s like when you’re looking at something on Google Earth on the slant. Also, good luck finding the picture you “take.” They don’t exist. Again, okay for getting some kids exciting about looking at some stuff, but definitely not anything beyond that.
