MAXIM is the largest men’s magazine brand in the world. First launched as a men’s magazine in the United Kingdom in 1995, MAXIM now boasts brand extensions in print, online, mobile, broadcast, events, and more.
Since MAXIM hit its stride in the US in 1998 and Maxim.com launched in 1999, MAXIM the brand has become a force to be reckoned with.
In 2011, with international editions in over 25 European and Asian countries and an extensive following in the United States, MAXIM continues to reach guys globally and creatively. MAXIM knows what guys like. And we talk in the same way that guys talk to each other. With men 18-34, we know the way they live, the way they work, the way they think and the way they play.
MAXIM provides content and the appropriate channels for which this content is distributed – all while keeping in mind the needs of the audience we serve. MAXIM believes the content we serve should always evolve and adapt to the needs of our audience.
MAXIM Australia, and maxim.com,au, will take advantage of the global celebrity power of the MAXIM brand, while adding a distinctively Aussie flavour.
There are three subscription options ( Each comes with a free 30 Day Trial):
Three months subscription for AUD$16.99, automatically renewed until cancelled.
Six months subscription for AUD$32.99, automatically renewed until cancelled.
One Year subscription for AUD$59.99, automatically renewed until cancelled.
The subscription will include the current issue if you do not already own it, and subsequently published future issues. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. This subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period, your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. The cost of the renewal will match the initial subscription price.
You may turn off auto-renewing subscriptions by going to your user’s Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during your active subscription period.

Great app this is much better then US version
Nothing great
The magazine is OK, but there is nothing great about it. I will probably cancell my subscription.
Not free
Claims to be free, but you download it and they want $. Why are you trying to trick people?
This version is better
If you're wanting to read maxim, then get this me. It's much better than the American brand.
Maxim rocks!
I very much enjoy this edition. The ease of navigation, the image quality and ability for video takes the experience to another level. I have a hard copy subscription and would like for it to carryover and pay for the e-edition. Great job, guys!

Great Buy... Better than U.S. Version. The interactive features are great. The American version is not as half as good in terms of user interface and interactivity, as well as additions. But I still have and read the America version on my iPad. And I think that Maxim is good. So get both, but if can only get one, get this one

For what you pay I should be able to download as soon as its put on the the newsstand . Other than that it's great.

Decent value. Just wish I could pill previous issues from the previous Maxim app attempts!
