I gave the app 2 out of 5 stars because when I uploaded an old song that I sang on maykit on tiktok after many months suddenly they muted my video and said it violated their rules, so you have to change the music to not be a copyright.

If you’re serious about music and being an artist DONT USE THIS APP! I am giving this app one star because my private, unpublished songs are posted on YouTube and social media. My kid and I used this app for fun and I did NOT want those PRIVATE songs available to the public under my name! That is why they were kept “private.” I reached out to the developers for support and they told me to allow two weeks for them to fix the issues but they still have done NOTHING about it. I am taking music creation seriously and have been working in the studio on my album that I plan to release soon and I have created a YouTube and social accounts with my artist name. Please fix this.

I can’t use my apple account to use this app so why can’t I use my google account🤦🤦🤦🤦

I find freedom in this and what’s it about

It doesn’t save your songs if you relogin your account. 😡

I’m a verified user with a blue checkmark that I got due to my loyalty and constant posting, been on the app since 2021. I was using it daily. I have even made money through this app by selling my recordings as NFTs. I appreciate that, I have loved this app so much. But, my issues are that supposedly there are new beats uploaded yet they are impossible to find. You’ve taken away the “favorites” tab and also the “new” tab. I don’t understand the numbers they show on the thumbnails now a because they are definitely not streams/listens. When I upload my own “beat” which has music and voice, it separates my vocals and seriously distorts the sound of my voice. I am trying so hard to flow with the updates but it’s seriously just made the app unusable. If I don’t see any improvements very soon, I’m leaving the app. You also take my bits and submit them to apple and Spotify without asking first. Don’t like that. This app used to be my favorite place to go where I could just be me. But now it’s nothing but a source of frustration. I cannot create freely anymore, everything is upside down and that’s why I’m ready to leave it behind. I beg you to fix things because I want to stay and keep creating but under the current conditions, I just can’t.

I’m trying to edit a song and it freezes and it kicks me out of the app! 😡

I was able to use effects to change how it sounds n it’s no longer there
