McDonalds IT team finally got its acts together and got its location function to work.

This app is designed very poorly, you assume everyone has a cellphone, which is not the case. Many people still don’t have a cellphone. Without a cellphone you cannot use the app, it’s a mandatory field in your app. So, you’re punishing the users of your restaurant services that don’t have a cellphone because they cannot take advantage of your offers without the app. That’s very poor customer service, this app sucks big time. I will not return to your restaurant.

First of all, what was wrong with the old app? Secondly, as someone else said, I can’t put on my full 9-digit phone number. Huh??? Thirdly, the app doesn’t find any restaurants using either the “use my current location” function or typing in my city name. My city has about 2 million residents and dozens of McDonald’s restaurant. Obviously the app is broken. McDonald’s, what have you done here??? Someone deserves to be fired! p.s. the “developer website” and “app support” links here on this app’s page just take you to the McDonald’s Hong Kong website where there is NO SUPPORT for this app. Another ridiculous mistake from this company.

Loved the old app and used It all the time. This one won’t recognize any locations by me, won’t take my number, can’t even access the app to order... I’m seriously confused why the switch was made.

It doesn’t let me put in any location for the closest McDonald’s to me. I’m currently located in the Hong Kong McDonald’s, when I’m from Canada and I have no way of switching it. Poorly set up app

It won’t let me type in my full phone number! It only lets me type in my number until the last two digits.

究竟幾時先可以fix返個bug？

This app is very bad. You can track properly the order. Information is not up-to-date. You need to call the hotline to get the status and the delivery of your order. I don’t recommend it.
