They just don’t like us

Just want to say I love the website and think it’s is incredibly well engineered despite its visual simplicity. Speaking as a software developer myself I’m really impressed how the search engine just works and filters your query properly. It’s so rare to find a search engine that doesn’t force you to reword things 3 times to get what you really wanted. Well done.

The McMaster website is great but the app falls flat. It’s hard to use and stops users from browsing categories. Really would like to see it match up more with the website quality.

Amazing website and amazing app. Unbelievably well executed.

So useful, great app. However, It would be better if i saw my previous orders. Since I order 10-20 items in a time, it is so frustrating to log in web page check previous orders and compare it with current ones. Hope you would improve App on this idea. But, Great App, Great Thought !

Fast, stable so far, complete. As the website! Missing feature I'd expect: pdf drawing download when available and access to saved order. Nice app, well built, smart design, fluid and pleasant interface. Good job guys!

Every engineer should have this app for plant design/maintenance. But it’s the company behind the app that is really special. The best customer service you will ever experience. Pick up a phone and call them. You will get a live person who is knowledgeable and willing and able to help.

The simple catalog layout and graphical interface is easy to understand and well categorized. It is similar to their website layout. However, the navigation in the app is a bit confusing at times. The navigation tools are at the bottom right of the corner of the screen which is awkward locations. It also doesn’t work half the time. Every other app has it at the top left of the screen. The app could benefit from having a toolbar or ribbon for easier navigation. For every hardware folder you click on, it should make a new tab showing the category name every time one is clicked on. Some hardware items have many subcategories and it would be nice to see the path I used to get to a particular item. Some other things to note is it is a little buggy, like the screen would shift slightly for some reason. And occasionally it would freeze and not respond to touch, forcing me to restart the app and losing my progress searching for parts.
