Don’t even bother, this app shows a start screen then just quits. Yet another reason to find a different bank.
I am trying activate my debit card and set a pin. After about 10 seconds I get error something went wrong please contact me bank customer care. Surprised these basic steps is t working on App and require me to call customer care.
This App sets a new standard in poor response, functionality and just all round poor performance. Six months of using it and constant error messages on log-in saying ‘Ops something went wrong, try again’. It’s SO slow and when you do get in and ask to view something like Future Payments, it will just sit and spin until you give up. Then there’s the time it takes for ME to send money using the App. If you send money in during banking hours it’s there instantly, go the other way and send money using the ME App to another bank and it takes hours if not a day to get there. I use several other bank Apps and these are light years ahead of ME. I guess they have to pay for a good mortgage rate by cutting back on IT and App development.
There’s just no excuse anymore, and now MeBank have an entirely seperate banking product offering PayID that isn’t compatible with their homeloan products. Stop making excuses.
The lack of functionality in this app compared to other Australian banks is really poor. We are still unable to make osko real time payments from this app or accounts linked to it. Every other bank I’ve used has had this functionality for years. Apparently still at least a year before they retire this app and archaic accounts.
I have been a ME bank customer for years, and the experience using the app for online is pretty bad. I recently started using commonwealth bank and some features of the app are so handy, things like notifications when money comes in/out of an account. I also don’t understand why sending money to my ME bank account is instant but sending money from ME to another bank can take several days. Very much considering closing my account with them.
I joined ME bank several years ago after leaving commbank because of how they invested my money. Sadly ME bank has failed me so many times ive since empties my account and gone to another bank. I had large sums of money withdrawn from my account without my consent or knowledge and when i informed ME bank of this they investigated it and sent me a letter essentially saying “not our problem”. Obviously the people i trust to look after my money not being able to look after it at all is a problem for me so i tried to close my account but have been unable to because the steps on their website dont even exist in the app. Im a firm believer in green investment and small banks but DO NOT trust ME bank they are rubbish.
Every day this app is failing more and more often, it’s getting embarrassing. Please replace it!
What about your loyal customers who have been members for year and decades. When are we going to get a modern banking experience? Why are we still suffering with the outdated, buggy app that doesn’t even recognise FaceID part of the time? Why is our loyalty being ignored?
It would be good if we could be notified of any incoming or outgoing transactions for our everyday accounts.
