When I started my digital art journey, I used IArtBook. It was fine I guess, but absolutely no layer tool and a big paywall. I then used IbisPaint, but it was disappointing. There wasn’t even a copy layer function for when you need to separate layers. I started using this app, and it was odd at first, but I love it. I even forgot there was a premium. Smooth, many brushes with lots of customizability, lots of layer functions, (plus there’s no layer limit in free) an easy-to-understand interface, I basically mastered it in a week, and overall better than any other app. But this app needs a few things. Firstly, a liquify tool. I’ve personally never needed it but lots of people complain about it for some reason. Secondly, the option to make brushes. It makes drawing hair and many other things much easier. Third, PLEASE make a circle tool. Fourth, we need those things that copies something you draw on one side. Thank you!
MediBang deleted all my saved works, including works in progress. Years of artwork and wips deleted. Ads are constant and way more severe then when I first joined the app.
I may not be good at art, but the tools are confusing. But I love the app! You’re doing great!
I believe it’s inconvenient that this app only supports strictly Apple Pencils, because not everyone can afford to fork over 70+ dollars.
Best app but too many adds
I tried using this app to draw because I had heard it was like "Procreate" but for free. However when I downloaded it, for some reason it wouldn't let me draw with my pen. If someone knows what is going on please help. 🎀💄💋🫦👄💕💅
I've been using MediBang paint on both an iPad and desktop for half a decade now and it was my favorite application to use for art and photo editing, but the ungodly amount of adds make the app really frustrating to use if you have no interest in subscribing to premium. If you want to save progress on your art, upload it to anything, close out of your canvas, etc, you have to watch an add. It was only something that was added somewhat recently since I recall using app versions that didn't have a massive ad bar across the entire top of the screen a few years ago. They just keep adding more ways to put ads into the app and it's somewhat angering to use especially if you can't/don't want to pay to have them removed. While I think MediBang is an awesome app with a lot of really good tools, I don't think it's worth any subscription service that's wasn't necessary just a few years before. You're better off either finding a free program with minimal ads or an app that unlocks everything with a one time purchase.
So I’ve used your app before but not anymore because I hate anime. Especially if you have to use money even for someone who’s middle income.
It’s alsome to me at least I will love it for ever
