This is a great app for managing routers, It’s great

My don't TV find the SID but won't connect to it since the last router firmware update. Please fix and push another firmware! Will give 4 starts once it's fixed and 5 stars when more options are available.

The directions make it impossible to follow because it doesn’t provide you with detailed instructions on how to get to the Wi-Fi connection. Customer support is very lacking and their website isn’t very easy to navigate. Wouldn’t recommend.

Always happy to back a Kickstarter, but the consistency is not there yet. Another thing is there is no control over 2.4GHz vs 5GHz which could potentially screw with my home accessories that need 2.4GHz. Please focus on functionality not looks!

It would be great if they could focus on consistent performance over new UI/UX because the app is terrible. Prompting me to upgrade firmware basically bricks the app. I’ve tried uninstalling, redownloading the app, and setting up from new and it won’t let me upgrade firmware. When the network works it’s great, but it’s very hit or miss right now.

Set up the router through the web portal first, then downloaded the app. Now the “merku WiFi” network doesn’t show because I had given it a new name.

My WiFi is vastly improved since setting this up. The app works great once set up. You don’t need a 5ghz and 2ghz connection it only sets up one and auto connects as necessary. If having trouble with set up, just delete the app and reinstall to correct issues. Glad I got this.

I backed this on Kickstarter, and was excited to replace my ASUS Router with the new Mercku. Upon setup, I could not get passed “connect to Mercku WiFi” even though I was connected. Luckily deleting the app then reinstalling worked. Setting up nodes is very glitchy. Instead of only loading the node that I pressed the “reset” button on, it would populate every node connected. Obviously I have no idea which one I’m looking at to connect to, so this made setup difficult. I’m noticing that the nodes are very slow. I had ASUS AI Mesh routers and got about 200Mbps everywhere in my 2500sqft house. No matter where I go, I see about 12Mbps now in any room. I hope this gets an update to speed everything up, because right now I don’t see myself keeping the Mercku system.

Doesn’t go past the password screen super annoying

Version 1.9.7 has a bug in it whereby the download speed test is off by 30+ Mbps. Download speed is usually reported as 120 Mbps or higher but, since installing the latest version it’s reporting on 65 to 70 Mbps download even after full modem/router power cycle. Speedtest.com is reporting speeds correctly at over 120 Mbps, however. Pls fix this glitch. Ty.
