Merge Robbers: Idle Robbery

I don’t know if level 86 is the highest level there is, but I have not been able to open that vault despite opening every chest and breaking every rock. I’m quitting this game as it has been over a month since I have been able to move on.

They make it impossible to get anywhere in the timed events without spending money

When there is an event I make so much progress and then when I log in my robbers disappear and I’m back starting with a level 1 robber lost all my level 10/11/12 robbers.

Don’t waste your time - adds are a minute or longer not the usual 30 seconds. Total GOOF devs

Saw a video ad for this game showing a robber vacuuming some sand and coins underneath. This is a cheap merge goblins clone.

The game was an enjoyable time waster for a while but as of today, it stopped loading and shows everything locked out. Attempted a reinstall and it shows the same.

This is such a fun game but unfortunately after a bug fix update a week ago the game will not load, like it gets about half way and then just sits there. I’ve tried waiting over five, seven, and even ten minutes before I give up and close the game. If this continues, sadly, I’ll have to uninstall the game

I like the game and game play but every time the app opens, minimized and come back to it steals the audio focus from any other program using. It’s annoying. I want to give it more stars but this just breaks it for me enough I don’t play it when listens to music, podcasts or audio books.

You play events, you never get the cards to automate your conveyers you have to sit there for hours clicking on them to even bother to slightly progress. It’s 100% savage pay to win, they don’t even tease it like their other game Goblins and Gold. At least that one you get cards and can progress without sitting there all day going nowhere.

Update: the UI updates keep making the game worse, and I can’t stand playing it anymore. The graphics have gotten more cartoonish and make the whole game look cluttered and confusing. Tapping on things takes longer for the UI to update, so I end up “buying” more when tapping on a factory or whatever, because the bar that shows whether I have enough to get the next level takes too long to update. It looks like it’s still full for a few seconds after I tap, so I tap again only to find that it wasn’t actually full and I just wasted my currency when I would normally use it only when the bar is full. That’s just one example. The game is infuriating to play now, and I’m about to delete it, despite having paid for a lot of boosts. I would probably still be playing, and paying for in-game currency occasionally, if they hadn’t completely ruined the whole experience. Original: I’ve really loved this game for some time… until the most recent update December 2023 with the new UI. I know some would say the old UI may have looked “dated” but the new one is, in my opinion, awful. My guess is they’re trying to attract new, younger players. The new font is difficult to read (especially for those of us with near-vision issues), especially on the buttons on the conveyors. The text looks crammed in, probably because the outlines on and irregularity of the new font make everything take up more space, while being harder to read. I don’t see the point of changing the images on the cards, now they all look almost exactly the same, with the same (or similar enough as makes no difference) cartoonish face and upper body taking up most of the space, making it harder to see which metal/gem/element the card is for. I miss the spinner showing me how many spins I have remaining. Now I just know I have at least one and have to check if I want to know how many. And either the events have stopped, or are on a new schedule, or I’m just locked out of them. Normally one would have started about 4 hours ago, but the icon just says “soon” with a lock icon and is not tappable for more information. I doubt this feedback will result in changes. Having worked as a software developer on apps, I know that once a new UI has been released, large changes to it likely won’t happen for a long time. Maybe I’ll get used to it. But as it is right now, when I launch the game I only play for like 30 seconds to two minutes before closing it and looking for something else to do.
