Met Office Weather Forecast

Good before recent update, now rubbish. Why can’t developers leave well alone…

The most recent update as of August 2024 seems to have broken the app. It no longer shows your saved location list, only your current location at the top and some blank adverts but if you edit the location list you can still see everything in here. Seems Met Office have let an intern run rampant committing code changes or they’ve outsourced to an incompetent company. App is quite useless in its current state - especially considering the weather forecast summary icons have been inaccurate for a while now.

Every time this app is updated, something goes wrong. All of the saved places have disappeared however they are still visible once you click on "edit", which would imply there is another glitch within the app. Please fix this asap

After most recent update I can no longer see my saved locations. This needs fixing

I’m looking out of my window now: Grey, wet. App says cloudy and sunny. Useless. I check what the next day may look like and lo and behold, come the following day, absolutely no reflection on the forecast.

Continually gets it wrong. What happens in my area is not reflected in the hour by hour summary. Small example: Currently states 25 and pure sun, when in fact it is cloudy and grey. The new data has made it worse.

All saved locations do not display following latest update. Please fix.

Very useful indeed … until all the measuring, tinkering and computerised jigery-pokery gets it massively wrong because the weather decides not to cooperate … then best go find a farmer.

Often, like today, the Met Office weather forecast is totally wrong. It’s raining yet the MO forecast says full sun expected all day, how can they get it so wrong yet the app on my phone is spot on? This isn’t an isolated problem, it happens a lot, how do these people keep their jobs? The mind boggles!
