It doesn’t read coins sadly, But it will work on metal, but not aluminum.

This product does not work I spent so long trying to but why??????? It just does not work???????????? UNACCEPTABLE! Absolutely waste times 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯!!!!!!!! Don’t get it if you want to be a person finding metals!!!!! Just don’t . What an UNACCEPTABLE ! ! ! I am NOT giving a five star review due to it’s ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE QUALITY!

I used it to find my 1st generation air pods that I dropped in the snow pretty useful.

Not as advertised. It would only ping on my stainless steel refrigerator.

I have to assume that this is only a metal detector and not an EMF detector as it does not detect an electric field from the Shuman residence generator. Update: I actually wanted to know if this app can detect fine electrical emissions from a “Shumann generator “. Since the description states it is a electro-magnetic sensor.

If you go to the settings page all you get is a blank white screen. So I paid the $1.99 to clear the ads thinking that the settings page was being blocked. Nope! The ads are gone but the settings page still comes up as a blank white page. Think I will try and contact Apple to see if I can get my $1.99 refunded.

It is better than a actual metal detector.

I could not get this to work On anything but iron. You have to be within a. Couple of inches for that. It will not pick up such items as brass or lead.

Tried it 8/16/24, held a piece of metal next to phone… nothing. Moved the phone all around… nothing. I spun it around in a figure 8 during initial calibration for about 45 seconds. Not sure why it is not working.
