Meteorfall: Journey

Stop making such good games please... i am losing my life to it.

Meteorfall is a great game with superb graphics and many fun surprises but it also it’s issues. Graphics and text are cut off left and right on my iPhone XR. I’m hoping for an update to fix the screen issues.

This game is great. Each play through your goal is to build the perfect deck to make it all the way to the end and defeat the Uberlich in time. You can play as a small selection of different characters, all with different starting decks. Along the way you’ll be confronted with choices that can greatly switch up your play style from time to time. Fights often require some strategic thinking and feature an attractive Tinder-like swipe left swipe right mechanic to determine if you want to play or skip a card from your deck. Overall, in my opinion the perfect mobile experience: portrait orientation, simple and intuitive gameplay mechanics, not too easy, different tactics to try out, no micro transactions, fair economy, great art style, good replay value and regular updates. The only thing I have a problem with right now is the character Muldorf, as I feel like only a few play styles will get him to the end. He seems to have trouble staying alive when enemies get tougher due to a lack of health generating cards, or quick high damage cards.

Great dungeon crawling game, really addicitive. Graphics and sounds are ambiant and enhance the overall feeling of the theme. Must have for card players!

I adore this game. Ive replayed it many times over the years. The deck building is unique and engaging. There are several classes to master and a ton of cards. The art style is a delight. Highly recommended.

It’s random. Nice to look at and fun to play for a short time but the gameplay is dumb and largely nonexistent.

Bare minimum interactment. Just swipe right for every deck. Then you can get killed from full health down to nothing on the first turn by just random enemies.

Absolutely love this game! Great distraction when you need to turn your brain off. Very addictive and fun.

This is the phone game I’ve played the most of, satisfying simple decisions with interesting deck building and plenty of variety. Also no IAPs. Thank god.
