Have used this for two decades plus. Such an amazing app which has been so useful, for me, navigating through London. Would happily use it in any other city based on my experience.

MetrO has been about since the Palm V and has been an essential app for any traveller looking to navigate a major city's public transport system. It hasn't been updated in a while but has a great community supporting updates on a weekly basis. The interview is a bit clunky but the data is second-to-none.

I have been using metro on my travels for years, it is my go to app for finding my way around new cities.

Don't leave home without this app! Provides accurate off-line route search for metro lines for cities around the world. It's a simple no-frills interface, with no ads and zero hassling for reviews etc. The fact that once you've downloaded the city data you can operate completely offline is a massive selling point. I've happily used it in Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Toronto and Europe with no problems. Go ahead and install it, and be sure to update before you travel so you get the latest data. What's not to like?

Great app for travelling to a new city-it predicts destination choices after typing a few letters and gives clear simple directions using all kinda if transport

Not the slickest design in the world, but completely accurate and reliable. Works off-line and has no ads. Comes with access to a huge international database but allows you to download only the data you need. I recommend you use it in conjunction with the Ulmon city guide app.

Metro is an app that doesn't nag for reviews. That's why there are so few of them. It had a heritage that reaches back to the Palm Pilot yet remains useful on a daily basis. It does one job and it does it well, if you haven't used Metro before, what the hell took you so long?
