Cute premise, but doesn’t quite deliver.
I love the idea behind this game, it’s very cute. The artwork is cute too. But the gameplay is very bare-bones with not much to do but keep your cat fed and watered and buy new decorations. Needing to actually take care of the cat is kind of stressful for me, but that might be because I have a cat in real life and I didn’t enjoy the added pressure of needing to keep another animal satisfied. I would have given this game 3 stars, but I also wasn’t a fan of the fact that you seem to only get paw points if you walk at least a mile on a given day. That means you can really only play this game on days where you are exercising over a sufficient distance for the game to reward you. I have been walking a dog while I had this game installed, but our walks never quite seem to cover a mile according to my phone, so I have not been able to buy anything from the in-game store. So I give this game points for effort and cuteness, but I think the gameplay needs some improvements to make it a decent, rewarding way to gamify walking.
