My doctor told me to install a migraine diary because of my frequent migraines. This is the best app!

This is such an amazing and well-thought-out app that has been genuinely helpful in tracking and learning more about my headaches and migraines. I also appreciate the fact that the app is constantly being updated and improved. Thank you.

This app is so sweet and it makes you feel like someone really cares about how you feel (not as if app asks you but a real person) <3 Updates on scientific research are also a great feature and you can chat and exchange experiences with other people. Really, really <3

App is overall pretty good for tracking migraines, but there are constant notifications advertising discounts on the paid version, or random articles to read. Things I couldn’t care less about. I can turn off all notifications through my phone menu, but then I don’t have the badge notification reminding me if I have an active migraine tracking that I need to turn off when it stops. There doesn’t appear to be any method inside the app to select only getting that one type of notification that I need: Are you still having a migraine? Just annoying

I just started using it and the free version is fine, tbh kind of difficult to figure out how to navigate the app and I may end up using my notes app to record data instead. I also don’t love how I keep getting notification pop ups about paying for the premium which really annoy me. Edit: keep getting constant notifications for premium. I may just use my Notes app to keep track of my migraines.

I used this for two years initially, then uninstalled it when I got better. In those days it was free and didn’t have all the features that it has now. When my migraines came back, I tried other medical apps. All were either, too complicated, or not professional enough to be useful. Migraine Buddy has always been, even in its infancy a “caring” app. Just that alone with all its features, such as the weather pressure, the feeling of being justified in a symptom being backed up by years of research, the notation abilities that include being able to easily update the movements that occur during the migraine attack itself, completely interactive, and educational at the same time. It makes me look forward to my first report to present all shiny to my neurologist. I smacked that Lifetime Membership choice button. The Prodigal Daughter has returned, and I’m all-in Baby!

I love the app! I would give the actual app 5 stars, but the integrity of the upgrade process ZERO stars. I upgraded after a week to get the added reporting. It was a reasonable cost, I was fine paying it. Then a few days later I learned I have to pay an ADDITIONAL $139 to get the weather reporting I was led to believe came with the upgrade I already paid for! I chose the only upgrade available, only to find out I was being stair stepped to pay for another upgrade!!! I am livid as it feels extremely deceptive! Now I am definitely getting a migraine!

I often get headaches on the very top of my head and it is difficult to input that on the app when selecting where the pain is. If there could be more specific pain locator areas, I would love that! Other than that I love this app! It’s so helpful to see what days I get migraines, identity the triggers, and see how long they occur!
