Milanote

There’s some issues using the Apple Pencil with it. It seems like its rejecting some of the writing strokes. Checked it out with apple support and they came to the same conclusion. Would revisit this app once they fix this problem.

I’ve been holding back on using the application due to the lack of support for ipad, as I often use my ipad to do my pre production works for creative projects and on site productions. The usability on the desktop version is great and i wished they would be able to bring it also to the ipad.

Recently got introduced to Milanote by my partner. His company just began using it.. after exploring it over a few days I must say that it was not a hard decision to make to join monthly. Thoroughly impressed at the ease of use and how customisable it is. Now, it is my LIFE hub.. I use it to track, create and envision all my projects for my personal brands, freelance works and full time job as well as my own life goals and to dos... thanks guys!! Seriously so happy to have found this app. It gets me excited to be productive everyday not being overwhelmed by excel sheets and unsatisfying user interface experiences with other “popular” apps! So damn excited about this app

I’m about to glaze this app so hard. I’m a huuuge visual person, I cannot construct my thoughts and ideas any other way. Milanote is like a whiteboard but with the best organizing and categorization tools. I am currently a hobbyist writer working on a long-term webnovel project, but in the future I hope to publish it! I’ve loved Milanote since day 1 of using it, it just works with my brain. It is very customizable with the simple few tools it has, and honestly I almost have no complaints. The board system is genius, it feels like apps but for your projects, ideas or whatever else you’re using it for. I love how notes work, and being able to turn them into documents is incredibly helpful if a note gets too long. I’d say the couple complaints I have would be not being able to choose a font size when typing, and there not being additional options to ‘columns’. I’d like to be able to put more images and notes into them sometimes that can go side by side and not straight down, that would be a lovely option to have.

This is a really cool app but it is very laggy and seems to crash as well. I don't know why it tends to crash or lag but I am to use this app to brainstorm for my comic book and I am not able to consistenly use this app be it keeps crashing so I hope you all are able to fix this because I really like this app and I don't want to lose all my work on here as well

I would give this app 5 stars but after over a year of using this app they still have yet to make mobile anything more than a quick notes taking app or file folder. You can’t do anything from your phone and while the desktop and iPad is wonderful, I don’t need those devices with me all the time and would prefer being able to access in a more productive fashion on mobile. PLEASE UPDATE IT ALREADY I’m not sure why it’s been so long or seems so difficult.

This app has amazing potential, but theres one thing that makes it nearly impossible to use the app properly without issue. Every time I go to import a picture it doesn't go through and has an empty image icon, even when I drag it into the page. It does this no matter what I try, I even tried downloading them into files and it still had the same issue. I use an ipad and I'm not sure if that's the issue. I am extremely disappointed as I was excited to use this app after seeing all the features it provides. Thank you.

cannot sketch, cannot reorganize my notes, and it’s limited to 100 total thingys!! 😡

I really like the functionality of this app, as a visual person, but half of my saved links just randomly disappeared. If I can’t rely on the app to save the info I’ve been working on, then it’s not useful to me. Grateful I discovered this before investing money and time in the paid version.

Hello, This app is receiving one star due to a couple of things. Most recently (since last night) every time I open Milanote and click into one of my boards, the app completely crashes when I click on one of my “cards” to edit it. When this crash happens the screen blinks black and suddenly I’m in my App Library. When I try to swipe up and see the app from the “open apps” screen, it isn’t there, the app is completely shut down. Beyond that I was already generally unimpressed with the coordination between the app and the laptop. Especially since there are many pieces of information from my laptop application that are not available to be worked on on my phone. Plus the duplicates that appear on my laptop are a nuisance.
