Hey team let me tell you something, this app is a goat rope. The interface is about as user-friendly as a 1970s typewriter—it’s a fight just to type in the exact amount you want to pay. The overall appearance? Looks like it was designed during a mandatory fun day with zero oversight. And yet, every PX across the country has a booth pushing this card like it’s the second coming of the GI Bill. Hate to break it to you, but the presentation ain’t cutting it. The developers of this app need to take a hard look at USAA or AMEX apps. Those folks understand what a functional and modern app should look like. This one? It gets the job done, but barely. Nothing more, nothing less. I’ve had this app for four years now, and let me tell you—there’s been zero improvement. Zero. If this app were a piece of gear, I’d leave it in the arms room and forget about it. Get it together and make this thing look like it belongs in 2025, not the turn of the century.

App is cool. It’s convenient but what would make this app SOOOO much better is the ability to use a debit card to make payments.

I’ve had this card since 2013, love it and i appreciate the new updated card design, but the app needs work. It’s simple and straight to the point but seems like the app is outdated and should take on the design and functionality of most major credit card companies. Hoping for a new and improved app to match the new card!

The app does its job, but it has the potential to be better. For some reason, if I open the app while listening to music, it automatically pauses the music. Why? Unless the app is gonna sing me my balance I don’t get why it interferes with a music app. You can’t schedule more than two payments in a week, and that includes payments made outside the app, which makes no sense to me. I should be able to schedule as many payments as my balance can afford. Last but not least, I should be able to redeem the gift cards in the app… but no, you have to wait for an email, and then add the card to your wallet and ensure it’s used before 90 days. Needs work.

Cannot add card to my Apple wallet.

Won’t take my login. Used the “forgot user” feature. Same user name. It logged me in, but only to apply for the card. Then the close button wouldn’t close. Frustrating.

Adding to Apple Pay isn’t working yet. There is no function switch in the app.

I saw somebody else mention it and I was going to as well at some point. If the developers could put in a extra section on the rewards tab for accumulated gift cards, I think that would be an excellent addition to the app. as well as an opting out slide for limiting the spam in emails with irrelevant notifications, and unwarranted/unasked for advertising - but I suppose if it’s in the terms and conditions…theeeen…. Chill out with all the emails. People only wanna know when they actually benefit.

I have spent the last hour trying to find the emails for the $80 in rewards they owe me, I can’t find it to open it to find this so-called barcode. How hard is it to put a button that says redeem rewards on your app to make it simple? Very disappointed in the administrators who have set up this app in such a inefficient manner.

Why would you remove the button to pay balance?
