Amazing and so easy similar to my proper audio gram so it is accurate enough
After a long time updating The app still says it needs updating.
I could really use an app like this as I have moderate hearing loss in one ear and would very much like the ability to regularly update my AirPods Pro personalised sound profile without having to see my audiologist for a new audiogram every time. Unfortunately, unless one can achieve what the app considers a ‘silent’ environment in which to take its tests, results are invariably labelled “inaccurate or incomplete” rendering them useless. I’ve reached out to Mimi Hearing Technologies GmbH multiple times via the in-app link (“We would love to hear what you think!”) asking how to achieve a silent environment — my own attempts culminated in a carpeted room, empty of people save myself, with all doors and windows closed, my iPhone resting on a firm but padded surface, without breathing, at 3 am (result: ‘Quiet’) — but sadly I’ve not received any response from them whatsoever which is a great shame.
I do have Moderate hearing loss in my left ear and still shown in the App that my grad in Non hearing loss.
Easy to use. Assuming the results are valid (and they seem to correlate with my qualitative experience), this is a valuable monitoring tool.
I would give this a higher rating but for the annoying set up process where the app cannot detect functioning and connected AirPods! And when the detection over bluetooth fails there is no way to bypass that step, leading to a dead end before any tests can be made! Ridiculous!
And all the later iPhones don’t have headphone Jack. So unable to use the app. Will delete.
My family keep telling me I’m losing my hearing, so I was keen to do a test before seeing an audiologist. This was easy to do, and the results were interesting.
This was my first time using this app. It was very easy to use and understand. I have felt that my hearing was diminishing but this app showed me it wasn’t quite as bad as I had thought. Very impressed.
This is really useful! Just has a few usability issues. During setup I wanted to swap from AirPods Pro 2nd Gen (not calibrated) to Ear Pods (calibrated) but the app wouldn’t let me and it forced me to quit and restart the setup from scratch. Also, the Practice was confusing. There was no countdown to start or read the instructions and when I held down it said Too Short. The actual audiogram process worked great, only the setup and practice was hard. Integration with Apple Health worked perfectly (but it would have been nice to be prompted automatically).
