MindNode: Mind Map & Outline

As a long time user of ithoughts I have searched long and hard for a replacement - MindNode is not it! Importing ithoughts files is next to impossible. And when you search for help, you are met with a link on the MindNode website apologising for the error. With an oops! Total amateur night! Similarly when you search for a way to sync outside iCloud… Another blank Finally, when it’s suggested to contact them with questions, no email address provided! Just a window inviting me to use an email service I don’t use, or an ‘other’ option asking me for details incoluding my email account password Given the standards of incompetence demonstrated thus far, only a complete idiot would resort to furnishing this developer with such information Frankly - I despair! Surely someone in this space can do better! If you know the people behind ithoughts, please implore them to resume support for what was a fantastic product

Gegenüber der alten Version ist nur noch ein eingeschränkter Funktionsumfang vorhanden. Die Verwaltung von vielen Minds direkt in der App ohne Verzeichnisstruktur wird schnell unübersichtlich und ist sicher keine Lösung für die Zukunft. Bilder und PDF’s können nicht mehr direkt aus dem Mind exportiert werden. Wieso man sich nicht an Funktionen und Datenverwaltung der alten Version gehalten hat, erschliesst sich nicht wirklich.

Just purchased the iPhone and ipad programs and find it works for a new map. But it will not allow me to upload my Ithoughts files as stated in their user guide. There appears to be missing the “open” function - hence can upload files. No good if I can’t upload my 50+ Ithoughts files.

I want to set specific font for my node, but I need to change every time for a new branch, can you guy fix this? It drives me crazy, the only thing I like about the MindNode next is that I can see all the documents in all documents tab and add a new tab would not create a new window, otherwise I would never use it. Plz make it better alright?

I tried this because iThoughts is no longer supported. Mindnode Classic supported imports from iThoughts, but Next doesn’t. Rule number one in software: never go backwards.

Why I subscribed in mindnode because of Apple Watch support why aren’t you support at ! I will not renew my subscription now Miro app is far better .

It’s a fantastic app for tracking tasks, procedures, models and all! However there is a new annoying bug on iPad. When trying to make a new node there is a a new edit menu and it hovers right over the plus button making it impossible to add. Once that fixes it’s an easy 5 Stars!

Hey there! I’m super excited about the latest release and can’t wait to see what’s next! Mindnode has been a great tool for me, but I wanted to share a couple of suggestions for features that could make it even better: • Rename a document directly from the title bar. This would make it so much easier to organize my documents and rename them quickly and automatically. • Share documents as a public link. This was such a standout feature in Mindnode Classic, and I’d love to see it return! It made sharing my documents so much simpler without needing to share the link manually from the app. ( Thanks for all the hard work—you’ve built an amazing product, and I’m looking forward to seeing it grow!

I emailed support twice from in the app with questions about why my Mindnode Plus subscription which allowed family sharing in Mindnode Classic does NOT allow family sharing in Mindnode Next. After 1 week, I’ve received no answer.

I understand the direction the developer is heading however there are undoubtably, a large percentage of the customer base who do not need collaboration (me included) and were perfectly happy with the Classic version. Especially considering how lacking in parity with Classic this release is. It’s also a shame (from a customers perception) that the efforts of the developer were focused on the development of Next for the past couple of years instead of enhancing Classic as that is what I was paying the subscription fee for. Unless Next has feature parity soon, I’ll stick with Classic and eventually begin the journey of evaluating the competitors products.
