With the introduction of the LEGO® Minifigures Series 25, it is now possible to identify which minifigure is inside the box by scanning the data code on the bottom of the box.
LEGO® has not yet confirmed this, so it may not work all the time, but many users have reported that the data codes match the minifigs correctly.
This app allows you to quickly scan these data codes and reveal which minifigure should be in the box.

It works
The app work so good expect it doesn’t show you the chase for the dungeon and dragons set
Minifigure scanner that actually works.
Excited for an app that actually works, and is accurate at that! Worked perfectly with Space and D&D sets.
Revived the Hobby for me
My hobby to collect mini figures took a sharp decline with the introduction of the boxes due to not being able to identify the characters. Very happy that lego made the decision to swop over from bags but was reluctant to make full out ‘blind’ purchases due to possibility of purchasing multiples of the same character unintentionally.
