Once you get it setup and follow through the proper instructions it’s incredibly useful in simplifying a busy and dopamine addicting phone!

I’m all for it. It strikes the perfect balance between original and simplified, and can be modified to anyone’s needs. However, it does take a fair bit of time to get organized, and patience is a must.

I have ADHD, and it’s difficult for me to focus throughout my work day at home. I often observe myself wasting hours a day scrolling through endless reels on Instagram and it’s been mentally draining. I’m a victim of “brain rotting” content taking over my life and I wanted to do something about it. This app has a comprehensive tutorial on how to get the low fidelity UI setup and remove the eye-catching distractions that draw me to Instagram in the first place. Thanks Ankit for producing this app! :)

Best app I’ve found to calm down iOS

Great little app. Directions are clear. Responsiveness to add new apps very quick! I wish Apple would allow for widgets to open apps directly instead of opening this intermediary app first.

I love the way I can customize the widgets to my needs while creating a minimalist experience. I gave it four stars just because of the price of the app. It feels like quite a lot to ask for customizing my home screen, but I do understand a lot of effort has been put into creating this option for people who want to disconnect from the phone addiction. Thanks to the developers that made this available!

A great app to make your iPhone into a dumb phone! I didn’t think you could do this, but you can and it only takes a little bit of time. It’s helped me be on my phone less in the past week and since it only costs $10 for lifetime membership, I decided to just get it since it’s helped me simplify my phone and my time spent staring at a screen. I will say that I couldn’t get the colored backgrounds to work for some reason - I don’t know if it’s just me or a glitch, but I couldn’t get them working where the widgets blend into the background. I actually love the black background, so I’m kind of glad I was forced to use it haha. My phone is in grayscale. The other thing I’ll say is that it can be challenging at first to figure out how to set everything up. I’m glad there was a video to reference. I think it just takes time to learn all the settings, but once you do you’re good to go. That said, this is an amazing app and I’m so glad I downloaded it instead of Dumbify because I think that’s more expensive lol. I thought this app was free though and must not have gotten the memo on the seven day trial situation, but it doesn’t matter. For $10, I’ll be able to use it for the rest of my life which I think is a pretty good deal with the way it’s reduced my screen time. Thank you, Ankit!! You made an amazing app!

I had to pay the lifetime cost for the features because it’s been super helpful.

Apps don’t even show up anymore to be able to add to digital detox, which worked for a few hours but now does absolutely nothing. Fail.

Making my phone more basic has given me back hours of my life, usually wasted on endless scrolling and catastrophizing.
