minutiae: Real Life

This app is the ultimate photographic composition! It’s an experiment of the in between. Not “Art imitating life.”, or more importantly, Not “Life imitating art.”, but Art BEING Life! The largest artistic composition IS LIFE ITSELF! AND… not only do you get to participate, but you have the opportunity to combine the random moments of your life into a photographic documentary of your life, in the form of a BOOK! Well done! I am very happy to be a contributor to this amazing journey!

It’s a new app for me. Where ever I’m at you get a picture. It’s pretty neat. Wait to next week I’ll be at the beach!

As a photographer it has enabled me to think on composing an image on the spot

I was under the impression I would see other photos from all over but no and it makes me not want to participate

I love this app so much, but it had a 5 minute warning before the minute goes off or something just because there have been times where i look at my phone and i’m 2 minutes too late

Can’t find directions on HOW to see other pics …

I’ve visited the trouble shooting site, checked all my notification settings, both for my phone and for the app, and cannot figure out how to get my phone to make a noise when the minute to capture comes up. I’ve missed about a week and a half now troubleshooting and can’t get it to work. I even scroll through all past notifications on my Home Screen, and there’s no evidence a notification even came. Hopeful the developer see this and offers some additional pointers. Otherwise, I guess I’ll just end up uninstalling it.

I love the concept but with life being busy and stuff there have been times that I’ve been driving for a while and not been able to safely capture a moment or other moments where I’m not using WiFi and the app will glitch out and I won’t get to see a photo. I wish you got the notification, you still get matched with another random person at a random location. But you could capture a photo at your convenience, then at the end of your day you get to view your photo match.

I love the idea behind this app and the simplicity that it brings. But realistically, I’m not always checking on my phone, especially at work where it has to be silent. I don’t hear or see the notifications ‘cause I’m busy. So I’ve missed like 3 or 4 moments since I downloaded it this week. I understand that the membership is what helps the developers to continue improving or maintaining the app, but even after subscribing… if I miss a moment to capture it’s just gonna end up black? I wish there could be a way to create a “second chance capture”. I know after paying we get 4 minutes to capture and some other perks which are great. But again, even after paying missing a lot of times and just having black squares doesn’t make sense to me. Really, consider incorporating a “second chance capture” to the membership, at least.

I adore this app and the idea behind it. The only issue I seem to have is even tho I have all permissions granted and push notifications on, for three days in a row I did not receive the message to take my picture. Today I randomly opened the app to make sure it was not crashing and it opened fine, and then five min later I got an alert to upload. So I’m not sure what happened those three days, I know it’s random times, but it seemed to alert me today, so hopefully it worked itself out! I do see three black squares so that lets me know it was saving like I just didn’t upload.
