Mobi by Rogers

After trying for two days to get this app to work we have given up and resorted to using public transport. Information is misleading, confusing, and incorrect in some instances. For example, on the info page with information about plans and plan pricing, the it says 24 hour bike rental is 12$ but when you actually select the plan and it comes up with the plan information which you have to select agree and confirm, it says bikes are 9.75$ instead of 12.00$ and every extra half hour is +5$ not +6$. Functions within the app DO NOT WORK. Again, when selecting the 24h plan you have to select the amount of bikes which is not possible because the buttons don’t work therefore you can’t move forward to the next stage without emailing or calling technical support. When you call you just get put on with an automated answering machine that provides the same information as the application. Not user friendly, not well tested, incorrect information = bad application.

As soon as you dock your bike with Bixi Montreal you get a message on your phone and your trip details are updated in real time to your account. Also a monthly pass for Bixi is $22 vs $49 for Mobi. Rogers needs to up their game.

The app wouldn’t let me create an account with a foreign phone number… I’m a visitor to the city and I would love to use the bikes while I’m here. It would be great if you could set this up for tourists to use!! Tried but the app gave me error messages… disappointed

Sometimes I get a ride for a 5 min and after I’m trying to end a ride and park it for a 10 min!!! Because the locking just keep failing Terrible

Can’t sign up, login or use the app… seems like anything rogers puts their name on fails these days.. shame

The app was incredibly slow to begin with and required a huge amount of information to set up an account. Had to enter my details twice when they could have bridged it all with Apple ID and Apple pay. Could not get the app to work and release the bike at the dock as the loading icon just kept loading and loading to show that there was an error. Tried again the next day with the same result. Its a shameful bike service to representing a city like Vancouver. This is a complete failure.

This app is not working

Like other reviewers, I can’t create an account or log in on either the app or the website. Pretty abysmal considering this is the main bike share service in Vancouver. Not a good start. I already can’t trust this service, and reading reviews of people being overcharged makes me even more wary. I believe those reviews. This app and website are clearly defective. Another garbage service in the land of monopolistic tyranny.

Downloaded app and seemed to work well. Went for one ride and was charged appropriately. Next day an additional charge for a ride I did not take. Emailed them about it and got no response. Very poor customer service.
