Não tem porque colocar um pagamento sendo que a câmera, as lentes e acessórios são extremamente caros e ainda devemos pagar por um aplicativo desse? Palhaçada
For real, nickel and diming us for a paid subscription after we drop thousands on equipment? Not a great look to say the least. Way to cut off your nose to spite your face, you can use my $5 to hire a PR firm. Ugh.
I paid many thousands for a Canin camera and then I cannot download my images using the companies app unless I pay $5? Seriously?
I shoot pro sports where images need to be relayed in real time to editors. Like everyone else who shoots pro sports, I use multiple bodies. Why in the world is there not capability to connect to multiple cameras simultaneously? More importantly, why in the world is there not capability to simply connect a cable from my R5 to my iPhone and select the images? Am I insane for thinking this is an obvious need? Additionally, I should be able to FTP any photos that I have in my library, not just the ones that have been transferred via the proprietary app. I shoot regularly at a stadium where many others are Nikon/Sony shooters. They plug an ethernet port into their bodies and they FTP photos in a second. But Canon only allows this if you've shelled out money for their most expensive bodies. I got an R5 over a 1DX because I knew Canon was going mirrorless and I wanted to stay up to date. But I've been penalized for buying an R5 prior to the release of the R3, apparently. Alright, fine, that's on me. But if you're going to make an alternative FTP solution for the "in between" cameras, why make something as half baked as this? I'm frustrated. Please consider this feedback and know I'm not the only one with these issues.
Is this a joke? Why is a subscription required? The app is not using the developer’s website or any other resources that require them to pay money. The SFTP protocol is a point-to-point protocol between your phone and the SFTP server of your choice. The developer could probably charge a one time fee to cover the costs of developing the app, but that’s about it. But the main product being sold is not this app, it’s the camera and extra lenses. So yeah, the subscription is a great way to piss off your users.
It was free then it auto deleted from my apps now they charge after we bought the camera
I didn’t buy a camera just to be forced to buy a subscription.
