Molekule Air Purifier

App stopped connecting to the device and gives errors. Resetting the purifier or reinstalling app does nothing.

The app works, but that’s about all. There is no scheduling to switch between different modes, but you can schedule the UV light on and off!?! It will remind you to replace the filters which is nice but you only can see their usage when you’re in the app. How about a notification/balloon? And the app has been like this for years.

So glad for the filter subscription and automatic deliveries. Almost wish they came more frequently. Sometimes the filters get a damp smell to them if in too long. When this happens I shut down the unit until the next replacements arrive.

I have 3 molekules. Its such a hassle to get to connect with the devices!

Really struggles to connect to purifiers. Its constant suggestions on how to update the purifier firmware never work. This clearly wasn't tested with real humans in real usage scenarios.

Firmware updates have failed twice. Their warranty is written that you are likely to get a refurbished machine. I still don’t have a working machine. One of the big reasons I bought an air cleaner is to help with any mold. Having a machine that may have been in a home with mold spores is completely unacceptable. Sending out machines that are nonfunctional once they update is unacceptable just like replacing with a used machine is unacceptable. Not having a working air cleaner is unacceptable. They will not complete the firmware update before sending out so I have zero confidence the next one will work- all the while, they have been paid. Would NOT buy again.

We have a Molekule in every living space in our home, and over the past 3 years since we started adding them, we simply have an easier time breathing despite our family of fours’ chronic allergies, with 2 dogs, a cat and a fish tank. We had them through COVID-19, during which time we we’re remodeling our interior. All of the contractors involved had COVID at one time or another, but we didn’t catch it. Yes of course we wore masks and distanced while in there presence, but it stands to reason that happening to have these machines that literally kill viruses played a part in our safety. I would give them six stars if I could.

Love the purity of this machine. You do notice the air quality

Whoever decided to change from Bluetooth to WiFi connection should be fired
