Good point is connection between devices (iMac, IPhone, iPad). Also good search and reports possibilities. I've been using Money since 2019 and the app has evolved a lot since then, for the better. I don't use direct connection with my banks, thus avoiding the monthly fees. The point of having your own financial app is to organize your transactions your own way, with consistent categories that you will recognize and remember. Banks each set categories their own way, often not relevant. So I enter my transactions myself and check against my banks monthly statements. The app is complete and complex and implies quite a learning curve. The main problem of the interface is problaly due to modern standards: small typeface and unclear writing fields (I'm and old folk and the 2001 application I was using before (Quicken) would now look primitive, but was far clearer). The worst is probably the confusion between categories and the transfer function, and the transaction programming function which is far, far too complex,like a programmer on the run.

Why is it so complicated to make a rules like any other expense management app? We need to be able to select a transaction and create a rule for it without having to go the settings menu, look for the transaction and create a rule for it, it will make my life much easier! Also the bank connections are not stable i have to reconnect all my banks after 2 weeks proximity and it’s very slow to connect each time!

After attempting to add my banking, it did not add it. I deleted the app as this was my main intrest in what I thought would be so great. After deleting the app I had multiple login attempt notifications for the specific account I tried to add to this app. BIG red flag.

The connection lost, and when I click 'reconnect' button, my browser pops up and asking me my client card number and password. I need to know if this is part of the service the developer uses to keep the connection beforehands. The jump from Money app to browser is already surprise me, and asking me to type my info. Dhe URL starts from saltedge.com/connect/.... it seems lefitimate, but developer, please explain.

I guess the app does not run on Mac Sonoma 14.2.1 setting up Money ebank banks accounts is usually hit and miss for canadian took 5 hours to setup accounts for CIBC with an opening balance. Had to finally go to bank website and download cvs files and do an import. backup files are not to be found and niether is current file in a folder to be found. Never connected it to iCloud accounrt so????Not impressed at all

I downloaded the iPad version of Money, Budget & Finance in February 2023. I live in Canada. The bank syncing worked well but the stock trading syncing was a mess. The app was not straightforward, it was difficult to navigate. I deleted the app and moved on. Thankfully , I was on a free trial period.

iCloud sync is blocked on most corporate driven mobile phone...so we are losing the possibility of looking to our money content on phones... Best solution should be to have a in-house sync mechanism (with account authentication, such as google, etc.). Many apps are doing that instead.

L'application c'est beaucoup amiliorée avec les dernières années. Très fiable, le transfert entre les app mobile et celle sur ordinateur sont parfaites. Les entrés de données est facile en général. Il reste une couple de bug sur certains affichages, mais le faiblesse de l'application est la création de rapport qui est très minimaliste et qui ne nous permet pas d'enregistrer des configurations pour y revenir. Certaines processus ne sont pas faciles de compréhension.
