• Story
The story begins in a forest near the village of Riders. Three young friends—the hero, Lilia, and Cheval—stumble upon a shining egg.
The trio perform a playful imitation of the Rite of Kinship, only to be shocked when it actually succeeds!
The egg hatches, revealing a baby Rathalos, a flying wyvern also known as "the King of the Skies." The trio affectionately name him "Ratha," and take him back to the village.
A year passes...
The hero receives a Kinship Stone from the Village Chief and officially becomes a Rider. Cheval and Lilia both leave the village, each on their own path. The hero, though separated now from childhood friends, partners up with the cheerful Navirou, and embarks upon a new adventure into the world of hunters.

Please fix PVP
I love this game and really hope they bring MH Stories 2 to iOS
My only complaint is that the PVP is broken, I have been locked out because it cannot connect to iCloud.
My iCloud settings give it access so I don’t know how to fix this error.
Amazing combat
After coming from monster hunter world: iceborne I was doubtful of this games combat system because of how different it seemed but it blew me away with the strategic possibilities in a deceptively complex fashion. Great game would recommend playing!
Devs don’t care
After all the comments asking for the most important feature in mobile gaming these days, controller support, they just don’t listen. Pretty disappointing, would recommend finding other games with controller support
Best game ever in an iOS platform.
Idk why or what made me say this but trust me, you’ll love this game. Keep up the good work developer. 5/5. Gameplay and the quality of the game surpass me in many way which I cannot explain in details. It’s just too good.
Great game
Hello Capcom, absolutely amazing game, however any chance controller support can be added
ONE PROBLEM
Great Game Overall 10/10
Problem: Can’t load backup file from Iphone 6s to Iphone12mini
25+ hour save gone
Great game that needs a more firmware stable platform.
The game loses local save data and often crashes on the latest iOS version when trying to load a back up and back ups generated are gone with only errors showing up.
Such a shame
Can’t load backup
Would have given 5, if it were not the fact that I am not able to load backup from iPad mini.
I started the game on iPhone XR, backed up and switched to iPad mini 2. It was successful.
Continued the game on iPad mini until Lv 26, but wanted to switch back to iPhone XR.
But then XR keeps telling me couldn’t load backup no matter what. Tried uninstall and reinstall, no luck.
Dumb game
IT SCAMMED ME DO NOT GET THIS YOUR BETTER OF READING A BOOK
A brilliant game, but some necessary additions are needed
This is a brilliant game. When I first learnt of Monster Hunter Stories, it was actually shortly after I started to get into Monster Hunter World. I soon fell in love with it (Ratha is the most adorable "Wyvern" styled dragon in existence), the story, the plot, the characters, even the concept of Monster Riders. It wasn't your typical Monster Hunter game, but it was a very loyal one.
However, there are some rather… severe problems. For one, this game is rather volatile. Apparently I am the black sheep of the player base, as every one of the reviews I have read have not mentioned anything about crashes whatsoever. This game crashes a lot for me. I probably have about 10, maybe 15 minutes, before it crashes. I know why it is doing it, and unfortunately, I have no idea how Capcom could ever fix it. It's because of memory. The fact that it crashes without warning gives away that it is a memory crash, as this has happened to me on my gaming PC whenever I play the Technic Launcher stuff (still don't understand how the higher quality computer has problems running older stuff when the laggy low grade laptop has no issues running them, shouldn't it be the other way round?), on top of that they both crash the same way; they just close, no crash log or anything, don't even say what happened, they just crash. The reason I believe Capcom may not be able to fix it is because iOS isn't designed for advanced games like these. iPhone and iPad apps are designed to use low amounts of memory, to reduce the strain of the low grade processor. However, just from experiencing the crashes easily shows that it would be an extremely difficult thing to fix. The only way I see it being fixed would be to completely redesign the game's engine to limit to load on the device's memory. This means a complete redesign, similar to what the devs of No Man's Sky did. A complete rehash. And I don't think Capcom would like to do that. Can't blame them though, from what I am aware of, besides the updated graphics and the obviously redesigned controls for mobile, this is the exact same game as the 3DS version, and well, they haven't exactly given it much attention.
One thing that could be used to bypass this problem; adding in the ability to save at any time, not matter the place. This means that players could save their game every few minutes, maybe after a battle, maybe after picking something up, maybe after every action, so that way they don't have to worry about losing progress. I kid you no
