Morgen Calendar & Task Manager

Die App ist an sich sehr gut. Es integriert ein paar kleine Features die mir beim Google und Apple Kalender fehlen. Aber dafür über 100€ pro Jahr ist frech. Für 30-50€ würde ich das sofort kaufen, aber so ist der Preis viel zu viel für die wenigen Features die man bekommt. Sehr schade.

Leider fehlt deutsch, es gibt keine Möglichkeit sich eine Monatsansicht anzeigen zu lassen und auch sonst lässt die App, die auf dem Macbook ganz nett ist, etwas zu wünschen übrig. Dafür sind die Kosten dann mit 9€ pro Monat ganz schön frech.

First, I’d like to clarify that I like the desktop versions of Morgen and have used them for a while now. The following only refers to the mobile app on my iPhone and iPad. It is also to be noted that I am not using a Google calendar but a CalDAV one. This might affect things. My biggest problem with the app is that I can not edit events. A scenario that occurs very often in my workflow is that I schedule an event far ahead, where the exact timings are not so precise yet. At a later point, I will then edit the event and set the correct time. When I try this in the app, there are all the possibilities to edit events, so I can set a new time, for instance, and tap “save”. Now, it shows the updated event for a split second before reverting to the old data. Note that this happens for regular events. The editing of event series is - according to a popup - impossible from mobile if you’re using anything but Google Calendar in the back. The event series brings me to my next point: I’ve edited some reoccurrences of a series (mainly adjusted the time) on the desktop version. Works fine, no problem. However, The smartphone app shows me two events with the old data. It seems like some significant kind of synchronisation and display mishap, and it is really annoying me. It is terrible that I can not edit events from mobile, but at least they should be displayed correctly since this is the device I’m carrying around the whole day and, therefore, looking things up with. The straw that absolutely and finally broke the camel’s back for me is this “what’s new” tab in the app that makes a fuzz about the “cool new things” that are now available on mobile, like event merging. Seriously??!! Get the basics right first, like the correct display of events and working editing. And editing event series for people without Google Calendar. Then, implement fancy stuff. Overall - for the few people still reading - my final thoughts: If you can live with mainly using desktop clients and you’re looking for a solution to administer tasks and events all in the same place, then Morgen is a great solution for you that I would recommend. However, please stay away from the iPhone app until it’s sorted out. In case some of the devs are reading this, I'm sorry that it got a bit emotional. 😅 no front towards you. Ich liebe „Morgen“ auf meinem MacBook und es ist inzwischen mein(e) Haupt Kalender / to-do App. Leider ist die iPhone und iPad App noch nicht sehr ausgereift. Ich würde gerne meine abonnierten Kalender ebenfalls synchronisieren können, oder zumindest die Möglichkeit auch auf dem iPhone/iPad einen abonnieren Kalender hinzuzufügen. Auf dem iPad hätte ich ebenfalls gerne diese unglaubliche gute Ansicht wie auf dem MacBook mit den „unscheduled task“ auf der linken Seite und meinem Kalender rechts, wo ich diese tasks dann in den Kalender ziehen kann. Eine direkten Zugriff auf meinen Kalender würde ich mir auch wünschen, anstatt die Art mit dem spezifischen App Passwort.

I have tried many calendars and chose Morgen because I found it to be the most user friendly and made sense to my brain. I love the desktop version and how I can integrate my Notion tasks and then drag and drop them to my schedule. (I would LOVE to be able to do this from the phone and tablet app!!). I also love that I can integrate multiple calendars, change the colors, create recurring events and estimate how long a task will be when creating it. The app is always being improved andI would give 5 ⭐️ when I can drag tasks from the mobile apps to the calendar like I can with the desktop app!

It’s unbelievable to have all your productivity apps connected and ready to use in on place. Also the reminders and ready link to join meeting before they begin is pretty handy.

Good syncing across all task management platforms. Simple, does its job, manages tasks and time blocks across devices.

My life has never been more organized! Having morgen has helped me get a visual every morning of my upcoming general life and even any details that I have added, so I can be confident that I’m not missing anything important. It syncs up to all of my other calendars, for work and Gmail and can even connect to my Alexa so I can get a daily overview without opening any devices on my device free days. There’s an app that syncs to my MacBook, iPhone and iPad so I can open it on any of my devices. Totally 5 star in my experience!

As a service, the ability to integrate with a bunch of different task managers and calendars and then time block is great. The windows app is amazing. I'm assuming the Mac app is pretty good too. The iPad and iOS apps are a little lackluster--the UI is just a bit clunky and hard to use. Especially on an iPad which can accommodate a near-desktop class app experience especially with a mouse and keyboard attached.
