Morpheus is the first app designed to power smarter cardio, faster recovery, and help you improve your fitness and conditioning.

When combined with the Morpheus M7 heart rate monitor, the app is able to measure and track your HRV and your recovery, give you personalized heart rate zones, and help you to hit the right amount of volume and intensity each week with its CardioSmart features.

For the first time, training to improve conditioning is as simple as it gets. No more confusion about what heart rates to train at, which zone you should be in, what types of intervals are best, or how much cardio you need to do each week.

Morpheus takes the guesswork out of your heart rate training and gives you 12 zone-based intervals to choose from to take your conditioning to the next level.
ZBIT can be done with any Bluetooth heart rate monitor and a Morpheus device is not needed to unlock this feature.

Finding the right balance between how much you should train and how hard you should train is one of the biggest challenges in fitness.

After analyzing the data from more than 500,000+ workouts and 1 million days of use, Morpheus has learned how much time in each of its 3 heart rate zones is needed to drive the faster improvements in aerobic fitness and conditioning.

Each week, Morpheus will set your heart rate zone targets based on your fitness level, goal, recovery, and your previous workouts. This makes it easier than ever to get the right amount of volume and intensity that you need to maximize your cardio for better health, performance, and longevity.

Requirements: To unlock the weekly zone targets, the Morpheus HRM is required. Without this, Morpheus is unable to calculate a recovery score or provide personalized heart rate zones and targets.

Each day, using its proprietary algorithms, Morpheus will give you a recovery score to help you manage your training and your lifestyle to optimize for the fastest results possible. Together with its personalized heart rate zones and targets, Morpheus will make sure your body gets the training and the recovery it needs to perform its best.

And if you’re using a wearable to track activity and sleep, Morpheus can also pull this data in to help you see the big picture of how they’re impacting your recovery.

Please note that activity (steps), calories, and sleep can be tracked directly with Fitbit and Garmin devices, or by connecting to the Apple Health Kit.
If you choose to track activity, sleep, or calorie data from the Apple Health Kit, Morpheus will display that data within the app and use it to generate your daily recovery score.

Activity and sleep tracking are not required to use Morpheus, but are recommended to improve the accuracy of the recovery score.

My trainer highly recommended this product. The easiest setup. Great device. Elegant, succinct UI. And extraordinary support... Yesterday, I'd used it for the first time. Leg day with a serious cold - feeling awful. Frustrated that I couldn't find the summary in the app. Wrote to support in a regrettable tone - not nasty but I was an absolute jerk. Support responded helpfully. I replied admitting my horrible tone asking them to forgive me, and they were so understanding. They spoke to me on a human level after the awful way I spoke to them. Feeling grateful for the product and the team.

I’ve had this for over 2 months and haven’t used it yet. Syncing doesn’t work. App is awful. No customer service at all. Don’t recommend it.

I’ve used various training apps/devices over the years. I heard about this from an interview Peter Attia had with Joel, its founder. I was skeptical but they have a 30 MBG, so gave it a try. This is, by far, the most accurate app/device combination I’ve used, to date. It truly dials in my training ability each morning, and adjusts after each workout. In just three weeks my Z-2 wattage has increased by 15%. Funny thing is, Z-2 HR can change depending on recovery. Following its recommendation on what that HR should be, is key to improved performance in the three modes of Recovery, Conditioning, and Overload. Highly recommend!

App needs some work

I like the product but the app needs a lot of work: 1. Sleep time for checkin doesn’t always work right. Sometimes is pulls in the right time from my health kit data other times it is off by hours. Then I change it when recording the morning checkin and it then reverts to the wrong data when recorded. 2. Sync workouts sometimes hangs and you have to close the app and try again. 3. No way to correct information when syncing.the app pauses and asks if you want to import or skip after you recorded the data for the session - why not give you the opportunity to edit one last time. 4. The app should not default to a workout type when syncing. This is incredibly annoying because the little icons are easily missed. Leave it empty and force me to click on a work out type so it is correct. Generally the app has a dated feel. Sad that you have a good product but a not so great app. Came back to lower my rating - the default filling in of the workout type is insanely frustrating. LEAVE IT BLANK SO WE HAVE TO CHOOSE A WORKOUT TYPE. Another day and I have come back to reduce the stars again. Please let me change the training data after it gets submitted. Apple health now tracks training load - they figured out a way to go back and edit data - why can’t you figure this out????

Latest version doesn’t read sleep data!

The latest update for this app seems to have broken the sleep data collection from Apple health. Repeatedly reported the issue to the developer and kept getting a tone deaf response claiming it’s working fine “no exceptions”. That basically removes 25% of the app functionality. Fix it already!

I wear this every workout, charge it regularly for the life of me why doesn’t it register and calculate properly?! Weekly I have to find my workouts and sync this again. I understand it’s a small tool to show progress, but never really know if it’s accurate or not. Currently it shows zero progress for the week, weird.

This app, the HR monitor, combined with customer service is second to none! I’m only two weeks in but noticing a change already in how my body feels. There’s a facebook group to gain extra knowledge and learn from others which helps tremendously!

Overhyped

I really tried to like and understand what the hoopla was about. There’s nothing that this does that my Garmin fenix7 doesn’t do, and Garmin does so much more and better. Stopped using it. In fact, not using it anymore I’m trending in the better shape direction. It is way too conservative as far as effort, and constantly telling me to throttle back. I was meticulous on consistency using and like I said, looking for opportunities to see the value. Save your $100 or whatever it costs at the moment.
