This is very annoying as whenever I search something the app crashes and sends me back to my Home Screen.

With so many film producers adding unhealthy shock tactics to their films, I ALWAYS check with MovieGuide before taking my children to the cinema.

Great ratings for family awareness of wholesomeness

I think the idea of rating and reviewing films in terms of taste, decency, clarity of message and morality in a deeply intriguing & clever one. They've managed to create a quantifiable currency (-4 through to +4) for analysing not just how family-friendly a film is, but how its worldview is played out & confirmed by the bare bones of each story. Although it probably isn't the most accurate codified of film morality, I think it's the best out there & is a bold attempt to rate films not just for their story-telling ability, but also highlights the moral values, naturally inherent in every story by virtue of its existence, which it tries to externalise & quantify. Created a new currency of film; clever.

I was so grateful to find an app that firstly appeared to be of Christian origin and secondly, provided so much detail about whether or not a movie used God or Jesus Christs name in vain and poof: just as of last week, every review has been modified to state there are PROFANITIES…. Really sad and utterly disappointing.

This is the best Christmas movie of this Season so far. Honors God, Veteran's and family. Great family movie. I will watch again.

I was looking for the mha series but it was only the 3 movies plz add the series

Important to know they rate movies based on their fundamental Christian beliefs and therefore disparage any progressive or positive diversity content.

The Movieguide content is amazing and the app is super easy to use!

If you are very Christian and things like Harry Potter are offensive to you, this app is what you’re looking for. For the rest of us, this guide goes way too far with criticism of anything that’s not The Passion of Christ. Should just be labeled that way.
