Cant open messages tab. It keeps loading

Can’t bring myself to rate this any lower than a 5 even though I’m dyingggg for an update. My absolute most used app, I have never stuck with my routine for so long in my life! Some issues and suggestions: Adding a product that isn’t in the system doesn’t work most of the time unless you’re very fast. Will only work when there’s a loading symbol on the “done” button. Custom products not already in the system cannot be added to any lists :( I would love to see more data insights, such as what products I usually use together based on past data. I vary my routine a lot App is slow to start, and when it sleeps in the background it doesn’t work. Always need to restart the app from fresh. Just generally quite slow overall Some pages back button doesn’t actually redirect back, such as when you click on a product in the calendar it then doesn’t go back to the calendar page. Goes to “product search” page for some reason. The feed/social page thing has not worked for me in like 9-10 months Overall I will never stop using MSKD as all my data is in it and it tracks what I need. But I would love a fresh update to make it snappier and add more features without breaking anything. Please come back, developer!

Setting up and using routines is fairly easy. Unfortunately, adding new products to the database doesn’t work — pressing the save button just turns it grey and freezes the app. I had to force close the app after 10 minutes and the product was not available to add to my stash when I restarted it. I tried adding products 3 times with the same (non)results.

This app started as just a really useful tool and has grown into something so much more! When I first downloaded the app, I was diagnosed with psoriasis and as just trying to keep track of products that were helped my skin. It’s now my go to for skincare. I can keep track of what I have, when I need to use it by, rate how products work, see how others rate them, check their rating with the EWG and hit that lovely little serotonin boost and when I get a streak. It’s become the habit tracking app that I use the most consistently and with it’s help, I’ve found products that got my psoriasis and acne under control. The app is user friendly and the developer is amazing because they frequently communicate with the users for feedback and take suggestions that are actually put to use! Plus, this app is still free making it a fun and accessible too for any skincare lover. I can’t say enough good things about this app! Thank you!

This is exactly what I was looking for to track my skincare products, usage, expiration dates, etc. What puts this above other apps for me is the photo journal; it’s much easier to see what’s happening to your skin over time. The product database already has most products, but if you have to add one then it gets incorporated very quickly (next day). I also like how it breaks down the ingredient list so you can see any potentially irritating ingredients. This is really just a very full-featured app. The only things I have noticed that I would appreciate being added are the ability to select custom days for the routine reminders (Mon, Wed, Fri, etc.). Right now I can only find how to select “Daily” or choose a single day. It would also be nice to be able to add time to the mask timer while it’s still counting down. Anyway, this is a wonderful app!

I found this on the skincare subreddit and it is the perfect app to keep me on track with my routine!! Would it be possible to add the ability to edit past days? Sometimes I forget to log it, especially at night. Thank you so much for this app!!!!

I just so happened to be on Reddit on the /r/skincareaddicts sub at the right time and saw a post from /u/mskdmy called “I created a skincare app and I need your help!” On this post, the creator answers questions people have as well as troubleshooting people through any problems they’re having. They’re so open to fixing/changing things to be easier for the user. This really is an amazing app and I really love it!! I was so hung up on the Think Dirty app for a loooooong time but only for their rating system but you are a lifesaver because you have a rating system in your app PLUS you can create your morning and nighttime skincare routines by first adding to your “stash” AND you can create different lists- for example, it already comes with a “Holy Grail” list that you can add to which was awesome so I added a few more: Tried, Want to Try and Have. Just because I “have” it doesn’t mean I’m using it. I forgot to mention when you add to your “stash” you can insert information such as purchase date, open date, expiration date and finish date which is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I just cannot say enough good things about this app really! If you’re a skincare addict like myself- you HAVE to check this app out- you won’t regret it I promise!! Thank you to the creator even tho I did comment on the post I mentioned early on in my review. I said I can’t believe this isn’t blowing up on here. You should have waaaaaay more reviews and ratings so I really wanted to put in an honest review in hopes that said review would help people to download the app. I hope this gets the recognition your app deserves and also thank you for not charging for the app!
