Murder by Choice: Mystery Game

Great voice acting, scenes, and the games works well. Unfortunately after the freemium model kicks in it just becomes completely unenjoyable. Energy to move, talk to people, even to click on individual hidden objects. I don’t think it works with this payment model, as I can only play for a minute before its begging me for money again. I’d rather buy a fully unlocked version.

Is a good game. Energy gets used to fast

I would love to give 5 stars, but the constant running out of energy and waiting so long for it to refill is really annoying. To the point where I can’t be bothered playing the game. I know there are ways in the game to get more energy but it’s honestly not enough. Other than that, it’s has the potential to be an excellent game.

Agree with other comments taking to long with silly little tasks that in my opinion are unnecessary and cost to much energy to do Otherwise lots of potential for a very good game

But it’s ruined by having to use too much energy for menial tasks. I gave up after a few days (having spent money, as well as watching heaps of ads) as it just became tedious. Having an option to buy the game outright would make it way more playable.

Started off fun. Takes far to long to recharge your power. Need 30 points to see 1 scene. Recharges around 8 points an hour. Deleted it because of this.

Game is good but some things to make the game progress faster would need to be tweaked such as energy refilling. Taking a 24hrs just to recharge the energy level is insane and quite difficult to do when you have the option to purchase it just for energy from shop. There should be some rewards of sorts to help it refill faster. As for the hints, once used up, you either watch 3 three ads just for one hint.. this is making the game difficult. It’s easy to play but difficult to progress the next step despite the intriguing storyline.

I played until the power ran out, then left it nearly 16 hours to charge up so I could play again and I only had enough for 2 moves. I hate games that basically back you into a corner to pay to play. So deleted it.

It’s starting to get to the point where I think “what’s the point?” This is an issue. Quite a big one and considering the amount of complaints regarding this specific issue you’d think developers would be on top of it. Pretty disappointed. Not satisfied. It’s the only flaw in the game but I’m saying that it’s a big flaw.

Great game & continuation from Murder in the Alps. The only flaw they keep refusing to address is how quickly your energy refreshes. All it takes is one cut-scene to burn through 160⚡️, with the remaining quickly absorbed within minutes. Then if you purchase energy to keep playing, the other issue is you won't receive your daily 200⚡️ until you use up what you have purchased which is a bit rude. Cute-scenes should not use your energy when it is the main storyline.
