Music Reading Essentials

As a music teacher this is my most used app. So useful for learning the basics in a fun way.

This app has really improved my sight reading!

The app is ok but it jumps between the treble and bass this interrupts the learning as it is not instinctive as the R hand normally does the treble and the L hand does the bass you do learn but I feel it is taking 3 to 4 times longer than if it separately did the RH and the LH and then mixed it in the very advanced if at all. I don't think it is really required to mix them it . I find it annoying

Uncomplicated and extremely useful. The scoring system and timer make it fun giving my pupils a goal as well as a sense of achievement. I like to pop it into a lesson when possible.

Best Note App

I wanted to buy an app that would select notes at random on the stave and ask you to pick out what note it is using both the treble and bass clef and this app does exactly what I want. It's really helping me to re-learn the bass clef. It's much easier than using those rhymes to learn!

After having purchased 4 apps to help me and 5year old son to practise notes, this was by far the most versatile and useful. He knew how to play the music on the piano but struggled with the note names! This is a fantastic theory aid and one can select what level and which clef required. It's simply amazing!!

As a 33 year old who has just started piano lessons I needed help with my music reading. I can't recommend this app highly enough however young or old you are! I have been using it for 3 days now, for 10 minutes 4 or 5 times a day, and my reading has come on leaps and bounds! It's fun and easy to use and covers a very wide range of musical notation. If you want to learn how to read music get this app!
