With the MVG Fahrinfo München app, users of public transport in and around Munich can get from A to B easily. It allows you to quickly find the right connection and buy the right ticket directly.
Over the course of summer 2024, MVG Fahrinfo München will be replaced by the new MVGO app. It offers all the important public transport features and more.

You can already download MVGO from the App Store. You can easily transfer existing HandyTickets/subscriptions to MVGO.
MVGO is the mobility app for Munich and the surrounding area that combines public transport and sharing services. Including: mobile tickets, connection information, disruption reports, live departure times, bikes, e-scooters, car sharing, charging stations and much more.

Too easy to get charged accidentally

If you swipe up on your phone you may accidentally buy a ticket instead. Needs to have a transaction confirmation step. Be very careful or you will be charged for something that you don’t want.

Avoid at all costs!!! They are a bunch of crooks!

I signed up on the app using my credit card and received confirmation that the transaction went through. A week later they sent me a message telling me that I needed to pay again by going to their office because there was a problem with their system. I told them that as I needed the ticket I ended up buying a ticket at the slot machine and instead of cancelling the transaction and asking me for proof that I had indeed purchased a new ticket using the slot, so they can validate the purchase, they still forced me to pay for the transaction and sent a collector to me. Avoid them at all costs or try it at your own risks! By the way, all their messages are in deutsch yet funny enough the collector's message they knew to put it in English. Disgusting app with a disgusting service!

Tourist in Munich

New version is completely in German, with no settings to change it to English. This app is now completely unusable for anyone who does not speak German. VERY ANNOYING!!!

Die App ist hilfreich für Planung von Ausflügen oder Terminen sie ist zuverlässig und leicht zu bedienen. Für mich ist das ein eindeutiger GameChanger.

Die bessere App

Erstaunlich, dass die bessere App abgeschaltet wird. MVV/MVG halt 😀

Kein Verlass auf die Sbahnen.

Benutzerverwaltung immer noch miserabel

Fahrpläne laufen sehr gut, aber Mitgliedschaft und Ticketkauf super-schlecht. Sehr verbesserungsbedürftig. Das ist trotz Updates immer noch zu verbessern. Passwort-Verwaltung muss verbessert werden. Warum werde ich nach Updates oft nach Neuanmeldung nach einem Update oder Erweiterung zu München.de schon wieder nach den Anmeldedaten gefragt? Ich will Ticket bei der heranfahrenden Tram kaufen und soll mich doch nochmal anmelden???

Unbrauchbar

Für aktuelle Meldungen, z.B. ausgefallene Züge, geschlossene Stationen usw. absolut sinnlos. Die Planung ist nicht realistisch anzupassen. Außerdem schade, dass Kinder nicht auf elterliche Konten die App nutzen dürfen. Leider hat mein 13 jähriger Sohn noch keine Kreditkarte.

Bus immer zu spät

Bus kommt wirklich in 9/10 Fällen in ganz München zu spät
