My Bright Day

Trying to submit an arrival report (fluids, naps, arrival, marking absence) takes forever now. When clicking on anything off the main page, the app often times out or takes 30-60 seconds to load each screen or field. Opened an IT ticket and they were unhelpful, closing my ticket because “the process works now” albeit slow. Wish we had a better support team!

Doesn’t even allow me to use my log in information. Serious updates needed.

It’s a one-way communication app. The teachers and staff can post pictures and messages, but there’s nothing the parents can do, but call the center to talk to them or leave a message.

Unable to log into the app, therefore I’m not getting any updates or notifications about what my children are doing or how they are handling this major change in their routine (first day of daycare). The My Bright Day helpdesk said they are aware of the issue but there is no timeline for resolution. Not very impressive and not a good look for Bright Horizons.

List of contacts no longer shows up and haven’t been able to select the contact persons phone number for months now. It’s not the worst app but the number of bugs and no one to contact makes it frustrating.

The app is forcing users to accept all cookies. The managing cookies function doesn’t work.

The app asks users for the their privacy preferences in the May 2024 update. However, all cookie categories--strictly necessary, performance, and functional--cannot be changed from the "always active" default.

This app is pretty buggy in terms of providing updates to parents when info is updated (sends a new alert not an indication it’s been updated). Also, it’s not a choice to enable cookies if the “always active” is selected for everything. You are requiring cookies to use the product. Don’t imply we have a choice when we don’t.

This app is absolutely terrible and they should go back to the drawing board entirely. Images often fail to load, refreshing the lists almost never works, and I have to restart the app basically every time I want to see anything that was posted. The forms are set up in a way that makes it awkward and time-consuming to fill out even the most basic information. I really can’t say anything nice about this app; it’s bad and they should feel bad.
