My Fisker

So have you guys reached out to Apple for an Apple + Fisker collaboration?? You know that Apple are Pros at Software … but they couldn’t get their Apple Car going!

This is the most unreliable app in my iPhone. The latency is incredible. My best advise is don’t use it if possible. If you do use it to do something and it doesn’t response, then just stop right there. Don’t try the reverse command, for it will start a ridiculous command looping once it wakes up the car.

When a product is crafted and executed impeccably, it shows in the minor details. The name of your app in the App Store says: My Fisker, where as the name on the phone shows as Fisker. Besides the app stability, respecting the longevity of user’s logged in session, features, reliable connectivity to the car are all sub optimal and have no use to a common user as the physical key does all of it and rest are just a call/email away. Though all the modes of communication are super slow. Hope to see a much more responsive, highly connected (to the car), feature rich that makes the user life more pleasant.

The app is trash just like the company. You can’t pair the app to your car if it’s already paired. This means that you can’t create profiles in the car which means that the profiles are useless in the car. Such a disappointing experience all the way around.

I just got the update and experienced instability right away. I was able To open the hatch but I could not close it. I closed it manually and then I could not open it anymore. It is so slow. I wonder if it’s been really tested by developers. My 4G keeps going out so that could be the reason?

As an Ocean owner, it would be very helpful if the app offered biometric login. It gets quite annoying if I’m in a public place, and want to take a quick check of my car, only to see that the app has logged me out, and now I have to enter my email and password in a public setting. Biometric is safer, quicker, and I don’t have to worry that someone is looking over my shoulder, or a security camera is recording my login information.

I went to the website because I wanted to order an Ocean. Doesn’t give me the option and says I should use a computer. I downloaded the app. It crashes anytime I try to open it. I wish I could consider a Fisker but why make it so difficult?

As of two weeks ago (03/01/2024) the app stopped giving me accurate info about my Extreme. It won’t show state of charge or if the vehicle is charging or not. It holds data 20+ hours old. Isn’t the app supposed to get better, not worse?

I have an Ocean, and as advanced of an EV my car is, the app is atrocious. It’s like a grade schooler wrote the code for this. It’s often inaccurate, freezes or lags, and gives you the spinning circle of death often. Seriously, I can’t recall ever when I’ve used an app more lacking in reliability and useful info. A shame that this type of quality made it out to the public. I don’t bother using it, at least not until phone as a key gets released, which should have been last year. Please bring this app to the 21st century…..please…..

Little functionality, and what it does have doesn’t work. Won’t connect to car. Lock and unlock doesn’t work. Wrong battery charge percentage. No preheating. I could go on…
