A great, free audio streaming app
My Audio Stream lite (MAS for short) is a free audio player application for the mobile variety of iOS devices, such as the iPhone and iPod Touch, but also works perfectly on iPad; the system that I have been using it on. The app is used to stream music onto your device, via a DLNA or UPnP local network, of which can then be streamed to pretty much any device you so choose. Devices that you can stream your music to involves: Xbox 360, PS3, as well as your 3D TV if you so desire. What makes this all the better is that it does this with ease, with little to no problems ever seeming to crop up, and yet the quality of the audio is kept, regardless of where your music is being streamed. Your music that can be streamed to practically any device that is compatible also has the option of making use of the FLAC audio format; a format that is lossless, leading to an incredibly high quality of audio for each and every song you listen to. In terms of UI, My Audio Stream is very intuitive, easy to navigate, and simply a delight to look at as well. At no point will you find yourself getting lost in the application or struggling to figure out what to do in it. Basically, the moment you load up the audio player, you will have a pretty solid idea of what you need to do to get everything up and running to your liking. Overall, My Audio Stream is easily one of the better audio player apps you can get out there on the App Store. The application may be the free variety of the app, but it doesn’t feel the need to shove ad’s in your face, begging you to buy the full release, something that can only ever been seen as a positive. It’s very easy to make use of, and the UI is a treat to use. From the initial moment you load up the application you will know what you need to do, and the app won’t disappoint in showing you what it can do.
