Sofitel have these TVs that request we use this app to stream to the TV. I tried every permutation across multiple iOS devices to stream my Netflix to the Hotel TV via this app. With over 2 decades in IT I couldn’t get it to work despite pairing successfully. It doesn’t appear any devs work on this app anymore.

Very clunky app that doesn’t work as advertised. Couldn’t stream most videos to the TV, one of the app’s prime functions. They should pull this from the App Store until they it works.

Doesn’t work to mirror. Doesn’t work for Apple Play. Crashes even when looking at the “guide.” This is 2024 and someone hasn’t figured this out. lol

As the reviews state, it’s a TV remote. Only slower. You can’t steam your broadcast.

Anyone who wrote that this crapp worked for them works for the company and is a liar. Shame on any hotel that makes their “guests” use this bull. Pathetic.

It’s the dumbest thing ever. I was hoping I could stream from my phone. Instead it’s just a remote control. Completely useless. I wish I could give zero stars. Less than zero stars. Negative stars.

Hotel TV is the worst. The latest example is instructions from an Embassy Suites in Seattle, WA to download the app to “connect to the TV”. It connected, but what value it provided is beyond me. You can see a program guide, I guess, but it’s not able to be viewed in landscape mode. This results in truncated text that is unreadable. There is no streaming from AirPlay or Chromecast. There is a remote function to control the TV from your phone, but limited as compared to the “real” remote. The user interface is from 20 years ago and doesn’t even attempt to follow basic standards, iOS or Android. Thin text on light wallpaper. The list goes on.
