Initially had issues importing videos from my own library but issue seems to have been resolved not sure how. Other than that it is a very good app. Used it for a coaching presentation and the audience were impressed so much so that three or four people asked for the name of the app with the intent on purchasing. We’ve been using this app for months now. It surpasses the app we used before in so many ways. It’s simple to use. Great accuracy. Good price too. Helps to check speed of our dogs, how safe and well they are turning on the Flyball box and so much more. We love it.

We had to use this app to analyze video we took of ourselves for a class. The moment the teacher said “dartfish’, the class audibly groaned. I wasn’t sure what the big fuss was about until I started using it myself. Some of the issues I have: If you made a video in the video app and bring it into dartfish, dartfish will still have the audio in it. When you try to import a video into dartfish, the video will have a checkmark, but no matter how many times you try to open it, it will not open. The app will randomly decide when it wants to import the video you clearly have selected and are trying to import. In an application where you can do voice overs, it seems counterintuitive that you are not able to mute noise that was naturally picked up in the video.
At the onset of covid, my biomechanics professor with the Kinesiology dept gave the class a Dartfish license. I later proceeded to mentor other students through an internship opportunity and grew partial to this system for analyses, particularly gait analysis. While my app email is different from my Apple email, I thought this would be SO great to share my wonderful experience and also to have an opportunity to win back my licensure cost, as I bought this app on my own after graduating! I would absolutely recommend. The 4 stars, rather than 5, is due to the time needed to learn how to use the software. Mobile is way more self-explanatory than the PC version, though! (:
I use Dartfish on a weekly basis in my sports medicine clinic. It is an easy and efficient way to perform video gait analysis without a lot of expensive equipment.
Dartfish has been implemented in our clinic for a while. Its reliability and user friendly tools have been of most utilized assessment and analysis software tools in our patient management. Solid customer support. Definitely would recommend to colleagues and friends.
