This company is terrible at providing service. They are terrible at customer support. Their prices are exorbitantly high and that's all because they have monopoly on coverage in the area and in the lack of competition which is why they act so blatantly crappy. This is one of the worst big companies in Alaska if not the worst.
I have several GCI accounts and when I tap on the account name to change it on my iPad the app just crashes. This works fine on the iPhone and not at all on the iPad. It’s been like this for well over a year. Update July 2024: now I can’t even sign on to the app on my iPhone. The little gear just cranks away forever. What a miserable excuse for an app.
I've been trying to add data to my plan due to an influx of visitors the past month and on both the app and website when I check the box to agree to terms and conditionsit completely hides the confirm purchase button. They need to actually maintain and update the interface more to make it usable, right now it's laughable at best

It will never complete my order. Trying to buy more internet and after I make my selection and check the blue box the screen turns gray and does not process my payment. I am forced to call GCI which always takes over 30 min. GCI takes advantage of all the people who live in rural Alaska. Can’t wait to be through with them once my Starlink is hooked up.
Can’t set up autopay because the banner at the bottom covers up the “save changes” button because GCI can’t bother to make a functioning app.
I’m trying to pay my bill but I cannot get the app to work passed the log in screen because of the mediocre service. Not only does it cost 5x more than the services provided in Anchorage, it’s constantly disconnecting and the internet access you get realistically won’t match half the speed of whatever you’re paying for.
They don’t have American people to talk to.
For a telecommunications and internet company, their app is absolutely terrible. Bill invoices don’t load 9 times out of 10, and lots of mystery charges that seem to pop up out of nowhere
