WeatherHawk's myMET application connects with its new line of hand held wind meters. The wind meters measure wind speed, air temperature and wind chill, which is transmitted using Bluetooth LE technology, to an iPhone 4s or later, or an iPad 2 or later. In the mobile iOS platform, wind direction is integrated with location and altitude, to give the user the environmental conditions at that location. The data can be logged by the mobile device, connected to an image of the site, and transmitted to another remote location using text or email.
