I’m looking for my doctor by the zip code to get the office phone in Norwalk, CT; the app give me an office in Westport, CT. It’s better to use google. The same for appointments, you only get a Tele appointment, you must call. This app is horrible.
The app is really hard to negotiate because it really just interfaces with the website. Menu names are obscure—what is a visit summary versus clinical document? It’s impossible to export data. You can’t track your data (weight, CBC, BP, etc) overtime. Appointments are hard to track because you just get a long list in chronological order. For someone with a lot of appointments, that is not helpful. You used to be able to export appointments to a calendar app, but not anymore. Also the messaging system they use is absurd. The user has to select from a drop down menu that seems to list EVERY provider in the system. My understanding is greedy Nuvance went with this app/model so they could profit from it, rather than by using a system that works and is useful to patients.
When this works, it’s fine for a quick on-the-go to check appointments or if your labs are done, Rx, etc. but it rarely works. Frequently can’t even log in. Even then it doesn’t recognize my saved login info and tge extra time it takes to pull that up is not worth my time. Just use the website.
Cannot sign in. The app either doesn’t work with Face ID - complete wrong redirection. Or it crashes when entering user.
First if you use facial recognition, it still ask you to sign in. So what is the point of using facial recognition. App is poorly designed and difficult to navigate. App has you fill out a form then errors out.
I can sign in onto my account using the internet but when I try signing on using this App it consistently takes me to a blank page with no options.
The other written reviews seem to be criticizing the network and don’t reflect the app. Here’s an actual review of the app itself: It’s just a web view to the mobile website. Same Cerner health system, same site. The only thing this does is stash your password so you can use faceID to log in. No Apple Health integration, nothing special. Literally just a web view. I would love for this to integrate with healthkit, but until Nuvance combines their portals and moves away from the archaic Cerner Health system, I doubt it will happen anytime soon.
I applaud the effort to present this app but if you don’t have THEIR OWN INSURANCE PLAN , you’ll have to pay full price and try to get reimbursed from your own insurance This is a critical OMISSION from their description
New Company, new Software, and it is a mess. Western CT Health is now Nuvance (I think, hard to keep up these days).
