A processes that feels very much like a scam, and is handled very suspiciously, does not need a standalone app. Verifying an identity for a pension does not require a standalone app. This app is use-once, and one-time functional. This app does not need to exist. Change the process for this, and stop making it look so suspicious. Not everyone has a smartphone. This should not be an app.
Verified my Swiss Driving Licence…but… Expects an expiry date when there isn’t one. Wouldn’t verify my official SwissID residence permit that every Non-Swiss living in Switzerland has to hold - That’s disappointing! Hope you accept those next time as they do have an expiry and are the definitive evidence of ID in Switzerland for Ex-Pats
Why does the app treat me as a new user every time I open it? I cannot use an app where I have to start over from the beginning every time.
Can’t get past the ID verification. Who designed this app?
An app purely for old people has to be a challenge especially as many people gave it such a low rating, 2.6 out of 5, but, apparently it has been improved, rating now 3.6, I found it relatively easy, it went back to the beginning once, and the photo taking part, kept asking me to smile more, pensioners with a tablet and a little patience should be ok, but a lot of pensioners only have a phone and would probably have to use alternative ways.
Easy site to navigate & simple to complete any required information. Only takes about 10 minutes to do ‘what’s necessary’. Best and most secure way to confirm your existence to pensions authorities.
I tried to use this app to do my Overseas Life Certificate. It was very difficult to take a photo while holding the phone and my passport. Eventually managed that. Got to the end and got a message advising that I call them. I did that and was told it was because I had used a hyphen. Told to delete app and reinstall it and do it all again as my security code had been reset. Tried that and got message advising the details were incorrect. I’ve given up and will email the form to them.
It took a while to get past the first input page because it wouldn’t recognise my security code or phone number. Eventually I deleted the app, turned my phone off and on and tried again. I think it was because I used the app last year and it was remembering data which is inappropriate now. I was using cut/paste to enter my security code too and I ended up keying it in by hand to be on the safe side. They don’t give any help with the required format for your telephone number either. I didn’t use the + version in the end, I used the one with 00 at the start then the country code. The photo section was great and worked really well but watch out for the quick animation instructing you to take off hat and eyeglasses!
Took three attempts to accept my securid. Then three goes to accept my passport and had to restart process twice. Video was the only fast part of the process. Waited for ever to get a confirmation. A complete nightmare for the target audience.
Whenever I try to upload anything it crashes. Pretty useless
