Why have they removed this app? My £130 light is useless without it. Not happy

I spent hours trying to connect my phone (iphone 12) to the app by bluetooth. It repeatedly did not work. I tried following the help section advice but it did not solve my problem. I also tried my old phone but that did not work either. So i have a very expensive lamp that it is impossible to use as i cant adjust anything without the app. Very frustrating.

Tried forgetting headtorch on phone and various combinations of cycling power/Bluetooth but still can't get the app to see my head torch. It did work fine before so I guess iOS 14 must have introduced a bug so I can't get the rear light working or change profile.

Would be sooooo useful to have an Apple Watch app. I don’t take my phone running now I have Apple Watch cellular but a watch based battery level indicator for the petzl would be very reassuring.

Works well when it works. A bit clunky and not at all intuitive

I own a Nao + lamp and it is the best I’ve owned but if you are deciding to purchase this lamp on the strength of the app do not bother! The app does not connect to the lamp, it may say it’s available but it won’t connect? Numerous reloads etc don’t work? If you think it through the app is a gimmick as why would you bother getting your phone out to adjust your phone etc when you are in the pitch dark on a Welsh Mountain plus the lamp adjusts itself anyway?? As I say great lamp👏 awful app 😡

Imagine being able to set the brightness through the watch rather than in the dark on your phone on a hike/bike/tour/bicycle. And being able to initiate the Morse function directly from the watch as well - maybe even in conjunction with the “Hard Fall” watch protocol. As it is, its pretty impractical to switch and control settings on the move x

Constantly crashes on my XS when you try and modify the profile settings.

Excellent torch, with a clunky app. It connects to the torch, I can change the brightness in the ‘live’ section. But I won’t be running with my phone out... so? The light profiles can’t be changed at the, any attempt to modify or make a new profile just results in an instant crash to home screen.

Great idea with potential - first step towards intelligent battery management- nice First play about - A bit glitchy. Be nice to have the instructions for each torch available on the app. I’ve lost the paper version already and would like to know how to activate and deactivate the blue tooth mode from the torch itself. Also couldn’t get the ‘live’ feature to work.
