The app regularly works well. However there’s a consistent theme of updates carrying simple but significant errors. For example, our house has two distinct systems, for downstairs and upstairs. The latest app update has excluded the ability to access our upstairs system, so we’re unable to turn the cooling on for all upstairs areas for a day that will reach 38 degrees. These constant mistakes warrant a 1 star rating.

It keeps alerting to garage door open when it is not! Ever since the new IOS update it does this

Dan installed the new MyPlace system tablet and sensors at our new house, replacing the old one. He did a fantastic job, very efficient, thoroughly explained how it works, and helped setup the app so that I can remotely control it. He changed and added new sensors which work great. The aircon works perfect now and all the rooms are nice and cool, system is super easy to manage and easy access all on my phone. Advantage Air/MyPlace has a very happy customer!

Used to work perfectly, then intermittently and then not at all and then intermittently again. Contacted support and played phone tag and when spoke with someone they seems confused and updated a couple of things and it worked. Was told to call back if it stopped working which it did the same day. Called back and wasn’t able to speak with anyone. Message left and not returned

Glitchy app, sometime work sometimes not & not many features?

This app is useless. Constantly and randomly disconnects from wifi and requires hours of trial and error to get it working again. There is no security in place. Anyone visiting your home can download the app and then control your aircon. We paid additional $$ as part of our house build to have this feature and it’s a total waste.

Works really well, just wish Siri Shortcuts did more than just turning off and on the whole system, would like zones and temperature control via Siri. Also would love electrical consumption figures as most default controllers have it.

Needs a dark mode

Not sure what they did with the interface on iOS but now my zones are a much larger font than the temperature on the right. Thermostat on the main screen is too easy to swipe up/down without realising.

This app works well, but is so far behind the times it’s not funny… in 2024 the interface looks like it belongs on the first iPhone… thats after they new update! It’s actually worse than it was! There’s also no widgets. Again the app works but the developers are not putting any effort in presenting a modern app with modern features… just lazy
