Unlike other home sharing apps, this one seems to simply be another Airbnb copy instead of a true exchange app. The methods for finding “prices” are reading through descriptions and sending messages which is highly inconvenient. If it were truly a cost-basis home sharing app this wouldn’t be so much of a concern but people seem to be charging way over rent+.

I love MyPlace. Sharing my home has not only allowed me to have multiple homes and travel cost effectively by sharing other’s homes, it’s a real community - you’ll make friends too. Come for the home sharing, stay for the people.

Just another “platform” where people are trying to sidestep laws against Airbnb rentals. Unlike other peer-to-peer home exchange sites like HomeExchange or or Kindred, people are trying to “cover costs” with Airbnb prices and there seems to be very little community aspect to it.

For some such as myself who’s life is primarily spent on the road, finding MyPlace has been a god send. The constant changing of location, bouncing from hotel to Airbnb to hotel, starts to leave one feeling a bit alone and disconnected from others. But with MyPlace staying in a friends or a friend of a friends place, makes the road feel a lot more like home.

I'm enjoying MyPlace as a way to share my home with friends traveling and find places to stay and friends to travel with. It's easier and more aligned with sharing with friends than Airbnb and their new app feels good!

MyPlace is the perfect way to find trusted people amongst your extended network. This app is a game changer!!!

Knowing that you are staying at a friend’s - or a friend of a friend’s place - made us feel like guests, instead of just users. In our recent Miami experience, we felt compelled to leave a bottle of wine and a note in gratitude. And now we have a new friend!

MyPlace is a wonderful way to share your space, discover places around the world and meet new people. The user-friendly interface of the app is a huge plus.
