We have had a Mysa baseboard thermostat for many years & has worked flawlessly. Recently installed 2 mini splits (Daikin) & purchased 2 Mysa mini split smart thermostats. Set up was a breeze for both. Nice that the thermostats can be mounted on the wall or table stand provided. The remotes for the air handlers are big & cumbersome. They have been shelved as we now do all our controls through the Mysa app on our iPhones & iPads. The app is very easy to use. Any adjustments on the app are as fast as using the remotes (in some cases faster)! Scheduling is straight forward. Great that we can control all thermostats from anywhere. They have a cool modern look to them. Our biggest peeve is no Dark Mode, this would be greatly welcomed in the Mysa app. Otherwise Mysa team keep up the great work👍🏻

Wifi reboot

Any time I restart my wifi I lose the remote connection to the thermostat. I have to manually reboot and recreate the connection to the device. There is no ability to reconfigure the wifi inside the app. Absolute garbage. Especially if there is a power outage from high winds in the winter when I need it. And to top it off. If you lose power, the thermostat forgets the schedule.

Since the IOS 17.4, the Homekit scenes failed to work. The Mysa interface is not friendly user comparing to Homekit. The Homekit Scenes must work.

Remote app glitches.

Thermostat is good. But remote app has frozen on me twice now. Only way I know to recover is to delete the Mysa app. Reinstall it. And go through the whole binding/registration rigmarole. And then Mysa Co. Starts sending you e-mails thinking you have purchased a new device.

Such a bad product. I have seen their advertisement everywhere on internet but they haven’t put any money in developing their product. After all the communication with them ( which took weeks of time to get reply back). In the end i was told that my network does not use 2.4 ghz thats why their product is not working well. I have tonnes for smart devices which uses same frequency as 2.4 but all of them perform well. They are just biggest liars who just look into your pocket for free money

Terrible user interface

Really awful usability. We had 5 thermostats fitted. To change the schedule is an endless series of wizard-driven drop-downs, pop-outs, scroll wheels and confirmations. You have to do this individually for each time, for each day. To change the temperature schedule takes a truly staggering SEVENTY alterations. Mysa help was at least prompt, but initially failed to understand the problem, then said this is how it works and I should have a great day. Useless. For anyone wanting to know what an awful user interface looks like, this is it.

There’s only Mysa and Sinopé in the baseboard heating smart thermostat space. While I like Mysa better, the Mysa apps is complex and buggy, and now the geofencing isn’t reliable. The app will error out thinking someone is home when no one is home. So, you pay for heat when no one is there. Customer service’s response was to restate “don’t close the app” and “manually check in or out”. The app won’t tell you who it thinks is home, so the I have to check with every single family member every time. Frustration increasing…

Nice But…

I have several of the Mysa thermostats and the scheduling feature has caused some over-heating issues (large energy consumption) and can no longer trust this feature. The comments about the app being buggy is absolutely true. Also, changed internet provider and now nothing works via the app. Not going to disconnect and reconnect each one and have to go through the setup again. No longer use the app. Stand-alone devices I guess. Fix the app, please and don’t collect do much personal information.
