Tried to create a report for Imam Haron Road Claremont and it tells me I cannot create a report for this address as it is not within its map which is really ridiculous, but it works for area 2min away from Belvedere Road and up. We are part of the City of Cape Town so why does the mycity app give me such a nonsense excuse

Just want share that using this app cuts time. Service is fast and efficient once reported.

This is one of the most useful apps in existence. If you're lucky enough to live in Cape Town, the municipality usually fixes potholes within 2 weeks. Unfortunately the app has some issues. One in three times I open it, it freezes. The icon for reporting potholes etc. doesn't exist - you have to click on the text. And lastly, sometimes the map is very inaccurate. The worst being this morning when it logged the coordinates as many blocks away from the actual fault. Another irritation is that after writing long notes to correct the coordinates, I discovered that the notes never got saved. Let's hope the developers improve the app.

This app they can close down.I have been reporting and reporting and nothing is being done.useless app if you ask me

Most stupid program I came across. Very unfriendly and some backarrows do not work. One has to go out of the program and reload again to go to home screen.

I have created and submitted a number of roadworks repair reports. The report is registered with a reference number but the repairs are not conducted. Despite this, I receive messages that the issue has been closed out. How can this be? Obviously a lack Of system quality control

App does not pick up my correct address. I logged a complaint for a municipal water cover missing and water cog broken in September 2022. To date I have not heard for the water department and the two problems have not been resolved.

There is still many technical issues to be sorted, issues take long to report and often fails. But the team responds well and it looks like the issues are reported at the metro. So its a work in progress. But well done to the team so far.

The app is by far the most effective way to get the city to react to issues such as pot holes, trees that need trimming etc.

The app is easy to use and navigate. Reports of outages are logged with the city on your behalf and there is feedback of the progress along the way. This has become my first port of call when water or electricity outages occur - which is a weekly thing in our area. I find the staff manning the app to be helpful and efficient, given the poor service they have to deal with from the municipality. But if anyone is brave enough to do it on my behalf - I say it deserves mention and accolades.
