All round terrible
Solent’s online systems are very flawed, and this app is no exception. When joining uni, you might desire the app on your phone to act as a hub with everything in one place, organised layout, easy sign in, but MySolent couldn’t be further from a convenient companion app. It’s truly awful. The menus are messy, making the app hard to navigate. It’s hard to familiarise yourself with the app when half the tabs are totally useless or outdated. The sign in system doesn’t work. You’ll have to download the Microsoft Authenticator app, which often has trouble syncing between accounts often leaving you completely locked out of the app. It also crashes. A lot. Seriously. This app doesn’t just need updating. It needs renovating from top to bottom. Much like Solent’s website, and SOL, it reeks of outdated laziness from the uni. Very disappointed.
