MyState Bank

Seems worse than the previous Edson. The screen layout is cluttered. Looks like it hasn’t been tested on a sufficient range of devices. It still doesn’t show progressive balances like most other banks do. In addition, my account is missing the most recent two moths of transactions (they were present in the previous app), and has the wrong balance. Hard to believe a bank would release something in this state.

The new app is terrible- transactions from two days ago don’t show. And the website update is terrible too - can no longer export to QIF format only csv and pdf. Moving banks

Looks pretty however does it give you notifications when someone transfers you money ??

Ok yes the new app is sleek and modern. But the biggest downfall I have experienced is that the old app was able to show me EVERY transaction up to the minute, meaning if I paid for an item at 2:00pm it showed up on my app at 2:01. This new app doesn’t show any transactions in or out after the 29th of June. Really disappointing considering you had a pretty awesome app originally all you had to do was fix it cosmetically, and even that wasn’t really necessary, it’s a banking app! Interesting to see if it’s still in its rollout and bug fixing stage or if this is what I’m stuck with.

Not a fan of the new look, old app broke up the transaction dates using a different colour which made it easy on the eye. Plus I’m missing 2 months of transactions. Only showing up to the end of April.

Looks nice and clean but why have you removed the reference field from the bpay function? I called the ATO to check if this will be an issue (as the reference number is the key thing they ask for when making payments) and they confirmed that not having this will be an issue with reconciling payments. Might be good to reinstate this so people don’t have to find alternative payment methods, all of which are more cumbersome or incur a fee to undertake.

I've been waiting for this day ever since I opened my MyState account. I used to be embarrassed to open the old app as it looked like I was on a scam website and all my mates with Commbank had this fancy app whereas I was stuck with something that looked like Jesus himself coded it. This new app looks lovely, it's sleek and ✨easy to use✨unlike the old app so I have zero complaints. Thanks so much ❤️

A great app and a big improvement on the previous version. Super easy to use, very responsive and is clearly a more secure way of interacting with my funds with biometrics as a way to logon. Well done Mystate.

This is a much appreciated and long overdue improvement. A lot easier to use with a cleaner and more modern UI. Face ID a big plus. Only annoyance so far is that there is no mention of a character limit when creating a new password, however trying to create a password 24 characters long failed and I had to settle for less.
